I wanted to double my vinyl collection within a year. Started with 26 LP's (as at Feb 2024) and now I have 43 so not quite double. So this is what I'm playing currently

Thirft store shopping for vinyl last Thursday and today.
43 new to me records to listen to lined up beside the turntable.
Most I paid was $3 each, but over half went for $1.

The Wharfedale Sound. Likely an early to mid 80's release
A sampler of mostly the Philips classical on one side, and moe pop offerings on the other side.

The Partridge Family Sound Magazine 1973 or 74? Bubblegum pop of my youth, but David Cassidy had a nice singing voice.
Light and Easy - GE Electric Ballasts promotional album. 1981. All 70's songs have Light in the title one way ot other. Nice Vicki Lawrence tune on it.
Swing Is King Vol 2. Ted Heath band on Phase 4 LP, late 60's. Good Benny Goodman style sound.
Heath Vs Ros, Phase 4 LP. Early 60's Neat stereo concept. Swing band in left, Latin band in right playing music recorded live as played at the same time.
Sing Out - The Limelighters. LP early 60's folk trio.

I have to admit the album art on those Dream Theater records are stellar. I wonder if they used the same artist.
I saw Hotel Mira in Hamilton last year when they opened for Dear Rouge. I have a photo of me and the lead singer hanging out after the show.. I am absolutely plastered in the photo... lol
