I feel ashamed, but I actually give Buzz Hargrove some credit.

First he stopped sucking NDP ass.

Then, he critizes a Chrysler Kerkorian deal (probably with some merit). In my mind Magna would be better suited.

Then he promotes fair trade with Asia, which I completely agree with and should fight for.

Then he talks about the "Green Insanity" which will give the final death blow to manufacturing. "Green Insanity" I like that phrase.

The Hate:
Holding the big 3 hostage and forcing them to pay the workers that aren't even big 3 employees. This is something that the trustees have to work out and not holding Chrysler and GM hostage.

I do not like him (as I am on the management side), but I certainly respect him for standing up for what he beleives in, and for supporting his membership the way he has done. He is certainly intelligent, articulate and is a power to be reconed with.

You just gotta remember that he's not supposed to be a "voice of reason" or an unbiased opinion. He's representing tens of thousands of people and their interests. If your interests are different, then you might not like what he has to say. But I give him kudos for sticking up for people he represents.
