This sounds like a lot of flim flam.
Overhyping the very basic knowledge they have - that some elements that affect mood have been identified - to imply they know how to put together cocktails that will be "love drugs".
It's like the "smart drugs" fad of the 90s.
I doubt there is much "there" there.

That's what I mean.
Oxytocin has some measurable effect, but people have been hyping it as "the love hormone" and "it bonds you emotionally" for years.
They are always talking about how in just a few more years you will be able to control feelings with it and shit.
Just massively overhyping what is known about its effects.
This just sounds like more of the same.

How would you direct this at your intended target? Only take it at specific times when you're going to be hanging out with your spouse? I guess its usefulness depends on whether this is just a feelgood drug that gives you a sort of high or if it initiates connections in your brain that more permanently create positive reflections of your spouse.

Otherwise, it's just a love potion. Can see that going very, very wrong. lol

The original article implies it would be used for marriages or couples therapy, so presumably controlled settings.
But as I said, this mostly just seems like hype.
