If you buy 4 separate tickets, you will have a different bunch of numbers than if you bought one $20 ticket, but the odds are the same.

However, if you got the $20 ticket, what if you would have won... but since you went with 4 tickets, you got different numbers and lost.


For you to get the jackpot, your whole life has to lead up to buying your ticket at the right time. Where you moved, the red light you got, the detour you took, the person you let in front on you, so that at the exact millisecond, you get the numbers that will be draw.

I prefer buying separate tickets because (2 $5 tickets instead of 1 $10 ticket) because I always got bad numbers if I put my money together in one ticket, eg, 25, 26, 27, 30, 31. Surely you are not going to win with numbers like this.

There really is no such thing as a bad set of numbers. Each set of numbers has the same probability of being drawn. So "1,2,3,4,5,6,7" has the same chance of being drawn as "5,12,32,35,41,44,46".
