there is a new dvd of the WB cartoons Bugs Bunny et al out now. has anybody bought it or is thinking of buying it? i am a huge fan of these cartoons and have been since i was 5. it looks fantastic, and the cartoons are uncut, not like they are on tv nowadays.

It's an amazing package!

A word of warning though - don't get sucked in by the Wal-Mart ad. Friday's flyer had it listed at an "everyday low price" of around $25 (instead of the $55 it lists for).

As usual, when it seems too good to be true ...

They'd priced it incorrectly, and just to make sure there were no mistakes, they pulled it off the shelves for a while.

Enjoy!

I got it and so far I watched the 1st disc out of 4, it was all Bugs. There were some absolute classics in there.

There are 56 episodes in the collection. There's also a 28 episode version available, but IMHO why bother? All 28 episodes in the "light" version are in the 56 version.

It's a good collection, but I eagerly anticipate Looney Toons Collection 2. There are still some great episodes that didn't make this particular collection.

that is a great box set but there is too much sex in it. Bugs dressing as a woman. Pepe forcing himself on a cat. Sam and elmer both falling for Bugs. Might save my money for some clean cut fun like a Simpsons box set

(tounge is very much in my cheek)

Man, I want to get the first 4 seasons of The Sopranos. Unfortunately they're listed at $116 per season at Future Shop or Best Buy. Doesn't sound reasonable.

I've already bought the first season of Frasier. Waiting for the second one to hit the shelves in January.

if walmart listed it as 25 bucks then they need to sell to you at that price or you can sue them for false advertisement

Not necessarily. If Walmart lawyers are any good, they would insist that in very fine print on every printed ad they put "E. & O.E." - Errors & Ommissions Excepted.

Clearly the $25 is an error so they're OK to sell the product at $50 or whatever.
