I think Canada should try to attract the US gays - they generally are well educated, have strong asset positions and wont give the rest of us competition for the chicks.

If I lived in the U.S. and had children (especially in the 18-30 year range), I would strongly consider emigrating from there. I wouldn't want them dying in a war or terrorist attack. The Americans may feel they are safe in their country but that is not necessarily so in the rest of the world.

Some may think that it is rats that leave a sinking ship, but come to think about it, they are the ones who survive, not the ones who stay aboard ship (rats or humans).

Personally I would be more worried as a Canadian. If Osama had the opportunity for another attack he would have done it already.
While there will be NEVER the means to stop a single suicide bomber, it has become a lot harder to attack the USA.

Canadian politicians on the other hand just stick their heads in the sand and hope it goes away.
Like it or not Canadians are the next best target.
BTW there is NO DRAFT in the USA. It is a volunteer army. While this doesn't mean there could be a draft, it is highly unlikely.
This is not WW3 we are taking about.

I heard in the news today that some guy in Seattle has started a charter outfit for trips in to BC.
They charge $105 US to ship people from the US in to Canada for a flu shoot.
Is this a great country or what?
While everybody is crying about flu shots some whizz kid is profiting from it.
Maybe you and I should start a shuttle service from various points in the USA, for people that want o move to canada.
I know some very remote border crossings in Montana, a friend of mine is a border guard there...LOL

OBL will go after any target to get at the U.S. especially the soft targets like Spain.

I'm not going to stoop to your level and cheer American casualties in Beirut, New York, Iraq or anywhere else. You may not one be of them but some Americans are decent human beings and don't deserve to suffer for the xenophobic thinking of their fellow countrymen.
