This whole thread turned into a hold my beer moment. I gotta see Shyanne now. I love me a crazy brunette spinner!
I had Shy on my radar, but after doing my due diligence (as one does) I figured she's not worth the drama and put her on the black list. Still on the lookout for regulars in the area as I frequent B town.I’m sharing some thoughts on Shyanne as another SW in the Belleville area. She messaged me last year around January with the phone number she has listed in her ad (can provide screenshots), I kept the conversation to myself as it wasn’t that big of a deal at the time. But she’s been recently using burner numbers to harass myself and other ladies in the area. I won’t name who I asked to get this information from, but she’s honestly getting on my nerves at this point. It’s insane to message seasoned SPs (for me I’ve been doing this for 5 years, didn’t hear of her until last year) and berate them for services that she doesn’t provide just because she thinks she’s better than everyone, even though the reviews on here are mixed about her “all safe” service. Should also mention she’s 41 years old messaging a 23 year old (me) and claiming I post reviews about myself, was putting down clientele by stating “you go to their gross homes”, proceeded to say “Enjoy getting stuffed into the trunk of a car some day with what you do tho, enjoy that” (again, have screenshots), said “you will never have kids” “you have no future” and “you’re a trash bag who sucks bare dicks for $100”.
Anyways. Figured I’d share.
It's helpful to hear your personal experience with testing. I'm a germaphobe so don't go for BBBJ, but sounds like as long as there's some screening, it's highly unlikely to cause problems. Maybe I've googled HPV too much and it makes it sound like it's either asymptomatic or super serious.I've been doing it much longer and I've never tested positive for anything either. Not once.
She feels dirty. So she's testing all the time to prove that she's not but it's internalized stigma. She feels a certain way about sex workers, and she feels bad about herself and then she's trying to make everyone else feel bad because of her opinions towards sex workers are f*cked. Its a weird thing that happens. There's probably a name for it, and there's probably a better way to describe it, but I'm not a scholar and I don't have a degree
Its normal to get tested once every few months. It's absurd to test every week. Even the most paranoid person can't get tested that frequently.
I was just thinking about posting about how there's someone from the GTA going up and down the 401 offering bbfs and the guys that see her are going to see everyone's favorite provider for a bbbj. That's exactly why I don't offer it. I don't need someone else's poor decisions costing me my health and my livelihood.
I would expect for someone like that to get tested every week. Someone engaging in EXTREMELY high risk behavior and having MANY partners.
For the average sex worker engaging in low risk behaviors, every 3 months is the norm. If you admit to high risk behaviors like unprotected sex with multiple partners and drug use the risk gets higher and I'm assuming testing would be more frequent. Every week is unheard of and kind of gross to be honest. In order to get weekly testing I'd have to tell my doctor I was doing some pretty disgusting stuff. I'm not ashamed of not testing weekly. That's reserved for the lowest of the low. They do that to street people they know are doing things they shouldn't and they're not sure when they're going to see them again because they're transient.
Whatever can be picked up in a mouth swab is cureable. If I gave a sh*t about testing all the time, I want to see bloodwork results. I want to know someone's HIV status, their Hep status, herpes, the other ones that shows up on bloodwork ... but if I'm having all protected sex what does it matter? If I truly have safe, protected sex and I'm not a compulsive liar
it's totally unnecessary to be concerned with disease all the time. Safe sex can be clean and low risk. Whatever internalized stigma a person has is not my problem.The only times people have shown me these tests was to try and convince me to have unprotected sex for more money trying to prove they're "clean" but how many prostitutes have they approached with the same offer? I mean, if she wants to make sh*t up about other sex workers because of stuff she heard from John's I've been told she does this testing to get extra money for bbfs. It's a two way street. Johns lie. I take everything they say with a grain of salt, but I trust the person that told me with my life. He only ever has good things to say about sex workers. He was totally disgusted with her after seeing her and being offered everything for an extra $50.

I'm pretty sure I can pinpoint where she goes to get testing and it's a hub for homeless people. She probably goes there to get "free to her" tests, condoms, IV rigs and drug paraphernalia all paid for by tax dollars.
Its a place meant for the most vulnerable portion of our population. People that live on the street. It's not a flex. She's either the most disgusting prostitute in the area or exploiting services paid for by tax dollars meant for the most desperate portion of the population. They test this population so frequently because they're survival workers that will DO ANYTHING to get shelter and to get high and they're most likely to engage in high risk behaviour like sharing needles and having sex without a condom. Real classy
. I'll go in there and take a picture of the bathroom she took a video in the next time I'm there. I volunteered there for a minute. I recognize that bathroom. there's a button to gain access to the bathroom because it's an unofficial safe injection site. It unlocks from the outside with a push of a button because people shoot up, pass out and become unresponsive in there. The staff need the ability to have access to administer Narcan and call paramedics. They have a nurse and social workers on site because these are people that don't see doctors. They don't have phones, they have no ability to follow up with a doctor because they have no idea where they will be the next day or if they'll have money for a bus or a cab. They don't know where their next meal is coming from or where they're going to sleep that night.It might be more repulsive that she's exploiting this program and making a profit off of it. People already hate paying for these programs. Imagine if they knew people were accessing it just because they wanted "free stuff".

There's also vaccines we can get for the most concerning strains of HPV. It's not ideal, but it's not a death sentence and you can likely visibly see an infection.
Yeah I got that vaccine. Even though I do everything covered, I was like eh, why not?
Good for you for supporting local women. Its your body and your choice to do what you want with it. You're an adult, you know the risks. You made an informed decision.

I think it's stupid to harass women for doing it and threatening men with violence for even asking. Wherever she goes to get free condoms, tests and rigs has a no questions asked/no judgement policy. You'd think she'd follow their lead. Those services only exist because of the people she looks down on.
If she has the priveledge of NOT providing an unsafe service or a service that she doesnt want to do, that program is NOT meant for her.
Its meant for people who don't have any other option. It's meant for people that don't have a choice. It's meant to arm people with things that will keep them safe because if it isn't offered to them for free, they would not have the ability to buy it on their own. That's why they test those people weekly. Those people will do ANYTHING to get what they need and they don't have the resources to do it safely. They are the most vulnerable people in society and they are overwhelmingly diagnosed with diseases that could have been prevented with cheap tools, screening and prevention.
Its cheaper to prevent HIV and Hepatitis than treat HIV and Hepatitis or some other disease people get from needles and sex. It's cheaper to screen everyone and give them preventative tools than treat everyone afterwards for a potentially life long disease. That is the whole premise of these places.
Its a small cost upfront to prevent an even higher cost down the road.

I think the op got his answer and there won't be any new info any time soon. There's about 4 reliable ones. Sinnamon, Krystal, Trinity, and occasionally Roller Bunny.
I did have a moment with Shyanna as well. It didn't go well. I was incredibly accomodating, and polite to what happened (it was bad), and did not complain, but she had my cell. The flurry of texts that followed was literal insanity. The fact that I said that I didn't want to re-book in the future, set her off. This was a couple of years ago., maybe 3. I'm sure she will defend this, and I will not comment further. I'm out lol.

HPV seems to me to be a super sneaky one where it can be asymptomatic for a long time then do some serious damage. As far as I know, there is no test for HPV unless someone has a flare up. Otherwise, no way to know if someone is a carrier.
I did get the vaccine, but I got it out of country and paid out of pocket.
There is a test for HPV, just unfortunately not for men. HIV there is, that’s the one if left untreated will eventually turn into AIDS. You want to catch it early.
You can get vaccinated for free at your local Health Unit.
