Here's the scenario.
Couple is married. They are not happy. Not even still in love with each other.
Every so often the husband wants sex. Just sex, no lovemaking, no foreplay, just intercourse. No enjoyment factor for the woman.
He has her convinced it's her "job" as a wife to do this whenever he asks.

I think she has the right to refuse and if he uses any force whatsoever, then it's rape.

Your thoughts are appreciated.

If there are any legal folks out there who know for a fact one way or another, please let me know.

It absolutely is rape. This isn't sharia law. A "woman" regardless of her status vis a vis a man is never required to do anything. Assault, rape, etc are all valid charges against a person regardless of who they do them to.

Fuck yeah he can not do that. What the fuck does he think this is the fucking Taliban. Why do you even ask suck stupid questions, what is wrong with you? I am in my early 30s and lucky to get sex 1ce per month even if that...why do u think I spend so much time on terb...basically each time I feel like sex I turn here...smell the cookies man this is the reality and many guys are in our situation in a loveless marriage...fucking pathetic I know but it is our reality. That's why we have the beautiful ladies of terb to keep us sane and normal...if you can't put up with it fucking divorce her...I found a way to accept it and patiently wait until she is ready. Treat the women with respect bro they can smell it on you when you are a jerk and think they owe u something.

Just do the deed while she is asleep. Morning is
a better time as he can do it quick with a morning
wood. If he ends up getting charged and convicted the
sentence will probably be lighter than one for raping
someone randomly on the street.

Thank you for the serious answers.
No, it's not me.
I have absolutely no doubt it's rape in our Canadian society, but in this case, another culture comes into play, even though they live in Canada.

I've suggested that she get a divorce, but her cultural beliefs are strong and she can't bring herself to do that.
Then I suggested she press charges if he continues to force himself on her. This is why I was looking for opinions from those who may know if that's the right course of action.
I've told since they're here, our laws apply fully.

Again, thanks for the serious answers.

Wow. Advocating rape is now acceptable here on TERB? Is there no line at all anymore...?

Interesting, religion vs Canadian law. Although I am in no way, shape or form even slightly religious, we as a society allow the freedom to practice one's religious beliefs.
I can't for the life of me imagine why a women has to be dressed head to toe in black in 30+ degree weather, but they do.

Obviously you know you are advocating rape. I'm guessing this post is actually to light a fuse .... there can't be many desperate married losers like this around.

Husband fondles wife's breast and butt when she is asleep. Wafe
woke up to fend off husband's hanky panky.Could the husband get
charged for indecent assault? I guess he could had he ignored wife's
refusal to allow his hands to continue roaming and resort to
coercion and violence to finish his deed.

I did not advocate rape in my post. I never thought a husband
trying to have sex that way consitute rape. Had he forced it on
his wife than it is rape.

Is the husband open to hobbying to satisfy his sexual needs? Or does he insist on being "faithful" to his wife, even if she is getting no enjoyment from the act.

If he thinks providing sex is the woman's "job", he might as well go to a professional. Sounds like a "win-win" for both of them.

No, another culture doesn't come into play when it comes to the law. That's not how the law works.

But if you worry about culture, realize that her going to the police or hiring a lawyer or anything else, culturally, may make the man decide she has disobeyed him and he has the right over her, since she is his property, to discipline her for that.
