I am asian so I can say this - how many asian guys have you seen with good haircuts? Maybe 1 in 20? Most of them look like their head has been put in a fucking blender. The problem with asian hair stylists is that they think they know what looks better on you than you do. You can tell them what you want, but they will just do what they think will look good. That is experience talking.
My advice is to find a good barber shop that cuts men's hair like Terminal Barber downtown (if you get one of the original owners). Remember, you gotta live with that haircut for at least a month until it grows back. If you want a nice asian view, go to P-mall, Yonge and Finch or Korea Town.
