I was wondering what folks think on here about the subject. If you have a SO (significant other, wife, long time GF, what have you), do you consider it cheating to go and get a massage with a happy ending? Would they?

Precisely. It's like the "37" scene in Clerks.I don't think you would be thrilled if someone was doin digits on your gal.

So by your rule, I made a $20 bet with a friend on the Leafs (stupid I know) and I lost. My SO may be inclined to be upset that I bet therefore I didn't tell her, but in no way do I consider this cheating. There is no objective list of activities that constitute 'cheating'. That is a fairly immature concept to believe.
The simple rule is whether or not somethimg is cheating is would you would tell your SO about it, or hide it and lie?
The real issue is trust and communication, not who touched what naughty bits. If you go to an MP but won't tell your SO, you're cheating, no matter how you want to justify it or pretend you're not.
If you're not behaving the way she expects you to (sexually or intimately), I say its cheating. Which is fine, but be honest with yourself.
Bit of a category mistake. Depending on what promises you've made to each other about your financial commitments together you could have "cheated" on her financially, but no one would call you an adulterer over it.So by your rule, I made a $20 bet with a friend on the Leafs (stupid I know) and I lost. This may be considered a breach of trust.
