Toronto Western is at Bathurst & Dundas, right beside a dearth of asian Rub'n'Tugs. It's about 10 min walk w of chinatown. Closest Incall agencies would be Roommates, 4Play and The Oasis Gallery. There are a lot of independent incalls in the downtown area. For rentals you can go south and east to rent a new condo but the nicer "trendy" area would be College St. west of Bathurst area - lots of bistros, cafes and hot women. It's about half hour walk from Toronto Western. $2000 might rent you a whole house, and will definitely get you a fantastic apartment. If you like street market type areas the closest Toronto has to something like that is Kensington Market which the hospital is just on the edge of ... literally 5 - 15 min of walking depending on where you are in the market. You should be able to get a very decent apt. for btwn $1100 - $1600 more than that and you better be getting luxury. BTW you can go as low as about $900/mnth. Letting agents are non-existent ... get a hotel for the first month to give yourself time to look. Also if your into it the University of Toronto which isn't too far from the hospital rents out rooms in dorms for the summer (cheaply) since the university year ends in May. An interesting way to try to pull w/university chicks LOL !
