The judge in the UK got presented some evidence, this trial is seeing other evidence. And if he is found to be telling the truth by the ruling of this court, then what? Will you accept her role in this then?
My feeling is that he's going to lose. Jury has to see if he was abusive in any way, shape, or form. I think he called her a bitch once for her abusive behavior. One time is all you need for her statement in the Op-Ed to be true, thus, not be defamatory in nature. Hard to win these kind of cases.
He's already won in the court of public opinion.
So the end goal was met.
He will be forgiven for his antics while she has a lot to dig out from underneath.

I dont think he will win because defamation is very hard to prove. So she will win via technicality. Similarly, I think she will also lose her counter claim suit. So essentially I think the jury will find them both not liable.
Also, I think common sense suggests that he may be a drinker and druggie, but she is a druggie, drinker and abuser. Not to mention a psychopathic, gold digging bitch.

You're generalizing, I wouldn't be a fan of Shakespeare, Monty Python and Lando Norris if I didn't like the UK. And I'm always grateful for Canada's Parliamentary system, far better than what Italy and the USA have. The nation has made some inexplicable mistakes that make it difficult for it to create wealth without dealing with mafiosi. Bottom line, I don't respect the judges decision on those grounds. The relationship between Depp and Heard has too much gray area to paint Depp as Satan.

Assuming you've got a valid point - and this isn't just general misogyny about an "unworthy woman who betrayed her man" - how many multi billionaire dudes will step forward to take care of Amber Heard. She's hot. She's well known. She's a minor Hollywood leading lady with a career which might still actually be viable. I don't think she's going to lack for daddies who could buy and sell your ass a million times over.
