Yes, the UK judge got paid by Heard as well. So did the other 3 judges on the Court of Appeal who agreed with the trial judge.

The bottle and finger tip is still “he said, she said”. There is no excuse for her hitting him. And no… I only watched 15 mins yesterday. In the tiny fraction of testimony I saw, she did good.
However, if it helps. She is done. She will never get any work in Hollywood again, her reputation is completely destroyed, and if she sticks around, she will be the subject of tabloid fodder for years to come. The woman is absolutely despised. All because of a toxic relationship.
No it wasn’t. It was believed by that judge but not proven as fact. Not at all. Judges make mistakes all the time. They are human. You can’t say their word is God. I believe she did it. Period. You are not changing my mind. I listened to the testimony directly about it and have made up my mind. I don’t believe Amber and I believe the judge got it wrong.

Ok. I give you it is still a he/she said I believe him to be telling the truth. She has been busted lying repeatedly. She is not credible in my opinion.
But the recordings are her own words. You can’t hide that fact.
and I wouldn’t say she is despised because of a toxic relationship. She is despised because she lied about her abuse. At the very least, if you believe everything she said, she lied about her abuse towards him. Women of DV, true abuse, have such a hard time with it, with getting away, with healing, with getting support, and she lied about what many of us have gone or go through. This is what makes us sick, this is what makes us angry. I would equally despise a woman lying about rape.

Here is a question…. Are the “lies” she has been caught in really lies, or claims she has made that she cannot back up with evidence in court? (And yes, there is a difference).
I doubt you could prove to a jury some of the things you have been put through in life. We just don’t have a camera crew following us around 24/7.
However… I still haven’t seen any evidence of abuse by Mr Depp. The only thing I know for sure is, that was toxic.
And while the secret recordings are entertaining… it’s not surprising one of them was acting out over the top, and the one who knew, was trying to de-escalate. That’s secret recordings 101. (I am assuming he recorded her secretly. I have no idea how those convo’s were recorded)
Truth is, I feel bad for both of them. I would not wish that circus on anyone.

They both have recordings and pics so while I get that one will always behave while the other is acting out, they both have them so you can kinda read between the lines.
and I believe she has been busted in out right lies. For example, she has said repeatedly that she doesn’t go out without make up. That actors don’t do that, that she has a daily make up routine. And that she had to wear make up all the time to cover the bruises left by Johnny on a regular basis. Yet there are tons, like tons of pics of her without make-up.
This is not even getting into whether make-up covered a busted nose and split lip when she appeared the very next night to James Cordon’s talk show. Make up can cover bruises but not a cut lip. Lip stick can’t do that. Nor does this address the fact that make she says she used to cover her bruises on a daily basis, wasn’t even made during the years she said she used it. That was confirmed by the company.
She has lied and said that JD slapped her across the face while she was walking OUT of a room. Usually your back is turned when walking out a door.
There are just a bunch. She got dates wrong etc. There is too much to find her credible. But that is me.
Honestly, the thing that sent me over the edge with her was her own words. He admitting to hitting him. Not out of defence but out of aggression and then justify it because they were slaps not punches. Abusers do that. Minimize, justify, deflect.

I don't understand why she persists in saying she donated her entire divorce settlement amount to charity, when she clearly didn't. She apparently uses the words "pledge" and "donate" synonymously, but it makes it look like she's trying to pull one over. That's a bad strategy. Unless she was legally required to hand that money over...?

My thing is the rings he wears on his fingers and there are several. If he unloaded on her as she claims he has, regardless if he's a lightweight and can't throw a proper punch, those rings would still do serious damage on a cheek, nose, or anywhere on the face. Yet, her pics, and her claims of not going to the doctor for me at least tell a different story.
I am not saying JD is a saint. Not by no means but she is the aggressor and he was the victim of her abuse and is now done with it and fighting back. You can only poke the bear so long. That text reeks of built up frustration, humiliation, hurt, etc.
Let’s not forget she has had police involvement before in her past relationships of DV from her against her partner at the time.
