Superficial lockdown. All done to satisfy the lockdown supporters with very little impact to the economy

Exactly; I live within a 5 minute drive of Winston Churchill Blvd.; on the West side you are in Oakville (Halton Region); on the East side you are in Mississauga (Peel Region).

In the same situation. Last time they did the 28 days to Peel, I just went to Oakville for the gym... and dining... and shopping.

This is now the 3rd lockdown for Peel. The months long one in March, the 28day in October, and neither of those worked.
Numbers spiked huge after summer, when kids when back to school.

So why does the Government not leave everything open, and give the kids an extended holiday from Dec1st to mid Jan 2021?
The thing with Peel is that it really is Brampton that is fucking everything up if you look at the data. Unfortunately, Mississauga and Caledon get dragged down as well.

Even allowing 10 people to dine in, and workout at a gym was allowing those businesses to keep their head above water.
The gym I go to has been doing an amazing job cleaning, keeping to the rules, and having people come in every hr by appointment. There have been no cases at any gyms to my knowledge.

This is all becoming pure insanity now. Physical fitness should be seen as being essential and healthy. Something to help fight getting sick.

Now I've seen online, Walmart's in Manitoba are sectioning off what they consider non essential items, like clothing.
Its like something out of a Sci-Fi movie.
Oh, I'm big into the gym.. i am in peel, i managed to deal with the annoying Goodlifebooking system to secure a 630 pm slot 4 times a week with their 40 person capacity... the moment they did that 29 day shutdown, into the 10 person max i decided to just check out until this insanity is actually over

Yup, it is here effective 12:01 am Monday 23rd
Thank you to the Covidiots.
As long as there are COVIDIOTS who put their own selfish wants ahead of the greater good of society, we'll be in this predicament for awhile. I simply for the life of me cannot understand the dire need to go out multiple days a week to drink and socialize during a pandemic when everyone should be practicing caution. Some of these people sound like they've never gone out socializing before or have an extreme case of FOMO.

Angry child boys are going to threw tantrums about these restrictions. :ROFLMAO:

There has been cases associated to gyms one gym in Hamilton was a superspreader of 50+ cases.
Nothing is essential when the health of others are dependant on one another, we simply cannot have gyms open for the very high majority most follow the rules then have those clients or employees at night time being selfish and going out with multiple people socializing, drinking and catching the virus and bring it back to the gym.
People need to start acting like responsible adults rather than selfish children.

Waited 4 months during the last lockdown before I could enjoy an SP again. Well I enjoyed it (and Ella, Bella & Clover @ Allegra, Kerissa & Mila @ HUSH and Emma @ Sassy's) while it lasted. Ladies, I'll see you in 2021!

I know someone who lives right near the border of Scarborough and Pickering. They live in Scarborough and work in Pickering. How's that going to work?
