Don't they have any shovels in Philadelphia.
They didn't even bother taking any of the snow off the field at halftime.
How hard can that be?
They're running ankle deep in snow.

The grounds crew kept the yard lines clear. They're not allowed to clear the field of snow, once the game has started.

You can bet Goodell and the NFL does not want that type of weather happening at this year's SB.

The amount that you would have to pay for tickets and travel to sit in conditions like that?

Goodell is a lousy Commish so I would love to see it blow up in his face. It's a pretty safe bet that fans and media types will be pissed if the snow is heavy enough to interfere with television viewing.

I would expect the media to be upset anyways with trying to negotiate NYC in February to get to different venues. Gonna be a lot of bitchin going on

Two points:

You can be sure that holding it on the most high profile stage in NYC will fill the pockets of the owners (and this is what it's all about) so as to completely drown out any complaints from fans/media. If the game is flop due to weather it ends out being a one off, but they will still cash in big.

Second, those were entertaining games today. Eight inches (sigh) in Philly.
