We were already in massive decline. We should have crumbled during Covid but the government just kicked the ball forward. We need to drastically cut spending and agencies. It won’t but if hurts me then so be it. I will have to plan accordingly to minimize the impact. Elon is cutting a cancerous tumor out and he needs to take the risk to maybe cut too much to make sure it doesn’t come back. I fully support what he is doing. If an agency has billions of funds diverting to causes that don’t help the broader population, cut the whole thing out and start over.
As I said, he is not cutting spending.
He is cutting much needed agencies that protect consumers.
If you believe corporates should rule the country I cannot debate further as it is impossible to convince someone that doubles down on what is harmful for them.
Also whatever spending he is claiming he is cutting is not coming back to the citizen.
How is it coming back?
In the form of services? Tax cuts? Tax returns? Rebates?
You will get nothing back.
The rich however will get tax cuts. It is one of their goals.
You exist to serve the rich and you seem to be happy to do it.
Your oversimplified and naive understanding of what Elon is doing and your 100% trust in his integrity (while he has repeatedly proven he has none), is why I call it blissfully architecting your own decline.

I am not naive. $4T disappeared and we don’t know where it went. The one thing I can tell you is that it made some shadowy figures extremely rich. The rich will always get rich. Our elected officials earn a paltry salary yet have tens of millions of dollars. You need to stop worrying about rich people and making that your argument. It will happen with both parties.

You have a problem with Elon Musk cutting programs for the weak. You don’t give a shit about anybody else yet you act as though you’re doing me a favor by trying to warn me and other who support this. We wanted and voted for this. Trump during the election cycles that he would bring Elon to do to the government what he did to twitter. I 100% trust Elon will do what I want him to do. Your argument is completely on morality and serving the weak. I know it because in Manhattan I live in that world of virtue signaling. I choose not to embrace it.

When we close the deficit and chip away the debt, then we can help your people. There is a reason people like Jamie Dimon isn’t fighting back at Trump anymore. He realizes what needs to be done.

No idea, maybe he's not, or maybe he is.
It just looks very odd that Elon is by his side for most things now. Usually it'd be the Vice-President, not a guy who posts tweets all day while running a car/software company, a space rocket ship "to the moon" company, has multiple kids and posts a plethora of tweets in a day. Now this.

funny how a few years ago he was the hero who was going to save the planet by delivering electric vehicles to the masses

i find it odd how not too many Canadians had an issue with Gerald Butts / Katie Telford as Trudeaus puppet masters
Gerald / Katie have got themselves a new WEF puppet now that the useful idiot Justin is no longer useful

the truth of the issue is Trump wanted to drain the swamp way back in 2016
and he found the guy "Elon Musk" who was willing to take on that difficult job
Odd how a $14 Billion dollar tax bill can incentivise some people to act

is Musk pulling Trumps strings?
Nope

The US is the richest country on earth. Ok cut spending, cut agencies... Fine. But also share the wealth. Make sure everyone does their part. Make the rich pay their share. Make everyone pay equal.

What do you mean 4T disappeared?
People get rich via many different means. Inheritance is a good way to get rich.
How many of these people have millions?
No, Elon Musk is not cutting programs for the weak.
He is cutting federal agencies that provide oversight into his business practices and protect consumer rights.
Speak accurately and not in rhetoric.
And no one voted for this.
They voted for, lower grocery prices, and a lower inflation.
This is the opposite of what they voted for.
Yes I support programs and laws that protect marginalized groups.
But that is not what I am talking about here.
I am talking about America's decline into fascism where a unelected billionaire has hijacked this government to do what he wants.
And you are naive for thinking that it is what you want him to do, because what you want him to do is not what he is actually doing.

$4 trillion in payments from the Treasury that can’t be traced that DOGE found.

This unelected billionaire was needed despite your issue with him. The government was not doing their job efficiently. What you call fascism is what I voted for. America is broken and doesn’t work anymore. We need a reset.

The people also voted for less government waste. CFBP, as with many agencies created in the last several decades was created for a purpose and is now bloated. FTC could do the same. I understand the conflict of interest but like I keep saying, we need a reset and need to break things apart and put them back togather for today’s economy. The people that will get hit the hardest are marginalized people as they have poor credit and these banks may prey on them during interim. But so be it.

The hypocrisy that Dems have more billionaires supporting them. You have no problem with a shadowy figure like Klaus Schwab right. Who knows what other billionaires had direct involvement in the Obama and Biden administrations.

Practically every week a new agency popped up and existing agencies took on more oversight. To be honest, if I was involved in those administrations I would totally be for this. Funnel money through the countless agencies we have so nobody knows what is going on.

Unlike those billionaires, at least Elon is transparent. Maybe you don’t like transparency. God dam marginalized. Hope Elon succeeds.

Elon is not transparent. He's said he's found all this fraud but to date no examples forthcoming. He's not saying what's he's doing with people's data. A major chunk of his tweets where he alleges to have discovered x, y, or z turn out to be false or majorly misleading.
Even the dei stuff. The US government mandated that federal research grants have some element of dei and to report on it. A chunk of these regs came in trumps first term. (Eg after George Floyd many became mandatory). Now Elon goes through the grants and kills them for having it.
So...US government mandates DEI, so the researchers put it in their grants, and now the US government shuts down those grants for doing exactly what the US government MANDATED. Just fucking think about that.

Government waste, efficiency, CFPB and other agencies are bloated etc etc.
These are uninformed opinions with no evidence to back it up.
Your only justification is because Elon said so on twitter.

No billionaire on the democrat or republican side should be allowed to lobby the government or inject money into the government.
I despise lobby groups in general as they hijack the government for their own purposes.
However no democrat ever allowed a billionaire to directly take control of federal agencies and destroy them.
When Elon said "this election really mattered", he was talking about his investment of $288M having paid off, so he could do what he wants.

Never said he was pulling strings, I said he's there to make sure the stuff (strings being pulled) is done.

Well America is not a person.
It is a country with 330M people who need services.
Government spending is very essential and it is what ensures your standard of living.
Yes he has the senate, the house and the supreme court.
But I don't see him passing laws or making constitutional amendments.
He only passes EOs and the social/cultural EOs are blocked in courts.
But mind you those are all distractions.
The real change is in what Elon is doing.
Without oversight, without accountability he is gutting agencies that were established to protect consumers.
Inflation is high, your interest rates are high and your prices of even eggs and groceries are high.
As a consumer yourself, you are cheerleading your own decline.
You may be arrogant today that you are possibly a 6 figure salary earning successful MBA on wall street lol.
But it can all change in a blink of an eye like it did for many in 2008 and then you will be looking up to these federal agencies that wont be around any longer to help you.

Spending is good and needed, as long as it's not for the silly "testing an ant's ability to drive a 1978 Ford" or some nonsensical shit like that.
Otherwise, there's a reason we all pay taxes, we entrust the government to do things with that money to better all of our lives.
Cut the nonsense, keep the smart and necessary stuff and we're good.

Not directed at you Shaq, just adding to or whatever you wanna call it.

I didn’t fucking mandate it. I didn’t ask my representative to mandate it. Where is the proof congress voted for any of this. This government officials should be kissing my boots, not letting this shit go through. We mandated wasteful spending for DEI because of that bitch George Floyd? That drugged out fool made us spend an extra couple hundred billion because his body failed him?

Elon has been transparent and shown the receipts. You rather him just not tweet and then we don’t known what the hell he is doing? Maybe we go back to Biden where we don’t even know who is pulling the strings.

We know government has been bloated long before Elon came along. Again use your common sense.

In the past months I started to understand why people like Trump and Elon don’t give an inch. There is no middle ground with you fools. You whine about anything and everything that doesn’t fit your agenda. I’m glad Elon is doing it this way because there literally is no other way to compromise.

Yes, grab em by the pussy and fascism. No apologies as we fix America.
