Yes I know there's a gray area in between but I've decided to make the poll one or the other.

Me myself I'm a very moderate conservative

What difference does it make? All politicans are "cut from the same cloth", regardless of their affiliation.

It doesn't matter whether he or she is a NDP, Bloc, Tory, Grits or even Green. It's all about money and he or she cares only in hustling, purveying for votes and favours.

And yes, these politicans are generously compensated, maybe not so as the CEOs to take and get all the sh*ts and spits from their constituents. They will do whatever they can, as long as it's legal to keep the power.

Me myself is a fiscal conversative and social liberal. So far I do not see this kind of political animal in Canada, let alone the United States.

Sure it was. (Note the past tense.) That was the appeal of the early Mulroney-years PC party; socially progressive, fiscally conservative.
I meant this present Harper party.

The "Progressive" was dropped from the name when the PCs were ambushed by the Reform/Alliance/whatever they called themselves.
Hostile takeover is more appropriate :p
