Oh, the flaws in the current system are well known.
Doesn't change the illegality of what Musk is doing.

Unsurprising you support the authoritarian moves of the oligarch.
When the people in charge are either in on the graft or choosing to do nothing then sometimes yes, it is necessary to step in. Then question is where does it end up.

And unsurprisingly you choose to support those corrupt politicians.

You wouldn't accept evidence if it came from Trump, Musk or someone on the right even if it hit you dead in the face. There'll be one more reason why it's not enough or evidence isn't authentic or some made up shit to make yourself feel better.
I'm sorry you feel that evidence shouldn't be examined.

There's always an excuse to empower the autocrat.

Yup. And I would argue the likes of Mitch McConnell and Nancy Pelosi have been acting like Mandarins for awhile, using what I said above to commit graft while watering down the laws and tools to prevent it.

At that point people will turn to the autocratic. To not lay blame on the politicians is just plain stupid.

But you consistently turn to the autocrat to solve all problems. You’ve always got a reason…your decision is always the same.

What I'm stating is when the corruption, not only if graft, but of the nomination process to become a politician is so bad that reform through normal means becomes impossible, this is the inevitable result.

It's not advocating it, it's acknowledging the path. This is where you continue to fail to see the point. I'm simply making objective observations while you and other are giving subjective opinions.

Of course my preference in the USA case are real, open primaries, strict corruption laws, and term limits, along with the end of big money in elections.

Now if you can give a realistic path to achieving that, when the powers refuse to change and actively suppress attempts I'm happy to hear it. Activists in both parties have tried and failed.

So what's your solution?
