I'd say he's a hero. Well done Dave. The blonde one is super hot, way younger than you, and you did her.

Dave's a jackass. Tells jokes about Palins daughter being a slut and then show's he's a pathetic fuck that takes advantage of his position to bang girls. I rather be a slut than that pathetic creep.
and he did it before a weekend to take th eoxygen out of the story. As long as there is no more to it, but if there is other info that isn't yet on the table that can further incriminate Dave, his career will be down the sewer faster than one of those new water saver toilets can get it there.
Personally, I think there is another shoe or smoking gun somewhere.

We don't know the details, but you're assuming because he's the boss, it was some kind of coercion? Here's a hint - women are attracted to power, and "one or two of them" have in the past been known to chase it.
Anyhow, not going to defend the guy, as he might well be a creep after all. But the intensity of some of the responses in here are bizarre. Especially, of course, given that we are a bunch of guys who pay women for sex. Talk about pathetic creeps.

Could it be that the women who enter this business, even to work as a page seating tourists for tapings, know that this is a sleazier business than normal? Perhaps these women know that in this biz, there is certainly one alternative to getting ahead.
I don't see why folks are comparing Letterman to a doctor, CEO of an auto company, etc.
And just how much power does Dave have anyway? Aren't HIS strings pulled by corporate masters? So, if Dave isn't really "the boss," maybe the women were attracted to him for his money and fame.
Bottom line: it's a non-issue for Dave, imo. For sexual harassment, I believe you have to prove a) hostile environment, b) quid pro quo. And even at worst, it's a civil case. This whole thing is starting to look like an act of desperation by the blackmailer.

It's funny, these supposedly powerful men tarnish their careers with some really mediocre women. I saw pics of this Stephanie chic Dave banged and if Monica Lewinsky is a 3 Steph would have to do some work to be a 5.
Well, at this time and place, if you are in the position to do so "take your chances" and prepare for the lawsuits.
Needless to say there is at the very least an implied level of coercion in relationships involving someone with absolute power to terminate someone else’s employment and with such a vast dichotomy of power in the relationship.
If you do not believe that to be true, ask yourself why Physician - Patient, Lawyer - Client, Cleric - Congregant relationships are all considered by professional disciplinary codes to be beyond the Pale?
