what happened in games 1 and 2 is a very common flaw with the canucks. whenever they get into an early big league they sit back and try to protect the lead instead of pushing. then when the other team catches up the canucks usually can't turn on the offence again.

no one has mentioned the loss of sami salo. i know he doesn't get the recognition he deserves but he's arguably their best d-man. salo is a huge huge loss for the canucks.

since chicago is backing away from any fisticuffs, the canucks need to dress taylor pyatt over hordichuk. i'd be very surprised if pyatt wasn't playing in game 3.

i think the hawks do not get any respect as of yet, but that will change when their season does end. they are probably the best skating team left in the playoffs, and their role players have stepped it up big-time. ben eager, adam burrish and dustin byfuglien in particular, have really stayed within their limits, and have prospered because of it. jonathan toews, brent seabrook and duncan keith have all had their coming out parties.

the scary thing with this team, is they have yet to learn just how good they are. when they learn to put a full 60 minutes together, look out. when they play themselves out of their little funks in each game, they dominate.

9 goals in two games against the goalie most consider the best in the game today.

the future is certainly looking bright in chi-town.

Hawks can't beat the Canucks in a 7-game series... that's just rediculous.

not with the goaltending and physicality of the Canucks... only 1 problem could throw a wrench into the machine... if the 'nucks stop scoring. (we all know offence has gone dry with this team before)... you don't rely on 1 goal to beat the Blackhawks- they are especially good late in the games as evident against Calgary. but, either way, this is Vancouver's series to win or lose.

GO Canucks GO!
Just like the other thread you posted in....

You must have closed your eyes when Chicago was in Vancouver's end, that's why you didn't see most of the game.

mr. lucky, game misconduct for you, simply for being an idiot!

next time, try watching the game with your eyes open. all the cheap talk seems to be coming from you.

The Canucks take too many penalties to go very far, I think Chicago adapted in the third, Chicago's going to win, i'm sorry.
Another stupid penalty probably cost them the series, don't think they can win two in a row, don't have the offence, it was a good season, for Luongo anyway.;)

Van, outshot in every games, 36 shots in last two games combined, outshot 145-105 in series, luongo looked pissed last night in an interview, tired of having to do everything, think he's gone when he's an fa.
