I don't know if he was "innocent" but in the absence of other tried evidence and jurisp, I will go along with him being "aquitted" after a trail.
Actually, despite me being less easily convinced of conspiracies than most... there has always been what I believe may be a viable alternate theory . That Oj's son Jason killed them in rage and OJ took the fall, knowing that the evidence would acquit hiim and his being tried so determinedly, would preclude Jason from ever being charged or convicted.
This is not as deep as convoluted as the JFK thing but it makes as much sense as if OJ did kill Nicole and Ron.

Well, you get all kinds on sports teams, and you're not obliged to hang out with anyone you don't want to after you leave the dressing room. It's quite a bit different than a fishing trip or a golf trip where you are likely to be with your companions 24/7 for a few days.
As to where gropers ought to move, seems like Kokanee might be a place that would suit them! I know at least one former failed drama teacher who would give it his recommendation!
Unfortunately, local outlooks and political leanings do seem to influence the behaviour of juries. The venues for the various Trump trials were very carefully chosen by the prosecution. Not the way it is supposed to be, but it is the way it is.
What is life like when everything is black and white and you view everyone is like you and see everything through red or blue lenses?
Do you even realize that most people don't even engage in political discussions, don't identify as lib or con and make decisions and form opinions based on what is before their eyes at the moment?
And that generally, less than half of the population even votes?

I brought that up as an example of a jury being wrong and most people, based on the evidence presented, would have judged him as guilty.
So when you hang your hat on a civil case judging for the plaintiff, where the requirements of proof are much less, that leaves a lot more room for error.
I think most people are even less politically engaged than you suggest, even those who vote. I think most people always vote for the same party because they always have. That's why elections are decided by a fairly small group of voters who are persuadable. I don't think many of these persuadable people hang out here at the TERB politics forum!
However, elections matter and some political decisions do affect the average citizen. I think that everyone who bothers to post here believes this.
The people sitting in the courtroom, on the jury knew more than "most people". So for better or for worse, I'll accept their directly informed judgement over the vox populi. Espesially those informed by 3rd or 4th hand opinion based media fed to me. Even if it doesn't suit my own personal opinion.
Most normal, non-rabid political junky citizens can set aside their personal feelings when they sit on a jury or on the bench and focus on the evidence put before them.
Could you sit on a jury and find Trump guilty of any of these witch hunt charges?

Juries in criminal cases get it wrong, statistically 1/8 times. That's criminal cases where the burden of proof is much higher.
Do you think they get it right more often in civil court where the requirements are much lower?
Could you sit on a jury and find Trump (or anyone else you don't already dislike) innocent of any witch hunt charges?
