Wait. He didn't say that rape was legitimate. In the context, he used the expression "legitimate rape" in the sense that it was a "real" rape - as opposed to, say, date-rape or statutory rape. Bad use of words, yes, but nowhere near so bad as saying that rape is legitimate.

I think what he was TRYING to say was, the more violent the rape, the more likely the female body will NOT ACCEPT the seed.

I thought any nonconsensual sex was rape.period.
Statutory rape may be consensual but the law says a minor can't consent ,thus it is a rape.

Republicans feel that any women on birth control are sluts and if a woman is successfully impregnation it is further proof that she secretly wanted the rape and the child. Now her life if forfeited to raise the unwanted kid but as far as any financial government aid, these hypocritical assholes don't want to contribute a nickel.

I honestly find the republican respect and empathy of women not that far from the Muslim extremists.

Man, after making some of my thought provoking posts over at the abortion thread, many users are getting the idea that I'm some sort of misogynistic freak or some shit like that.


Well this post I make right now will surprise the living hell out of you:

This guy is a fucking idiot. There is never any justification for rape, EVER! Legitimate rape, date rape, statutory rape, etc. - they're all rape. Rape, by definition, is non-consented sex. It could be forcing them to have sex with you, or it could be getting them drunk so they could have sex with you. Why? Because you're taking advantage of that opportunity for them to say "yes". In this situation, choice of words DO matter! By failing to recognize that date rape and statutory rape belong under the same umbrella of "rape" easily show that this guy knows very little about rape and needs to be well educated about this serious crime.

And lol "rape victims will reject fetuses" give me a fucking break. That's just plain and utter stupidity. And yes every rape victim should have the right to abortion, just as much as I believe every male who was raped by a woman (irrelevant to this thread) should have the right to abortion as well.


I'm into gender equality. I address all the injustices that women suffer through, as well as the men.

I'll admit that there definitely are women who take it to the extremes and consider something even as small as an intimate hug as rape, but for the most part, if you want sex, you better damn well ask if the other person is comfortable, ensuring that he/she is fully aware (read: not drunk).

As for the underage minors thing, I don't really know what to say about it. I'm sure there are plenty of 17 year olds who are fully functional and fully knowledgeable on how sex works. If you think about it, pedophilia is wrong only in the sense that young people are not fully aware of the situations and hence, are less likely to say "no", and if that's the case, then wouldn't that be considered as rape instead?

Silly indeed. I've seen dudes doing life in prison just for sleeping with a 17.5 year old girl.

I personally think they should change the legal definitions around so that it's clear as to WHAT the wrongdoing was and WHY the person was being sentenced. For instance, if you go ask a random stranger why pedophilia is bad, I'm 100% sure that either they'd say that it's a deviant activity, or that they're harming the children. If it's "deviant", then 100 years back I'm sure people considered homosexuality as deviant, as well as sex before marriage and even using condoms. So in the end, it's a "history repeating itself" kind of issue. On the other hand, if pedophilia results in harming the children, then wouldn't that be considered as rape? For instance, getting a 10 year old to have sex with you who have no idea what sex is, or having forced intercourse with a 16 year old - those two are situations of rape, no? So really, it's not pedophilia that is wrong, but rather, it's rape that's wrong. If a 17 year old have sex with a 19 year old and they both consent to it, then who the fuck are they exactly harming?

A teacher going around groping 15 year old students is going to be charged with pedophilia, but what if he/she groped 18 year old students instead? Would that be adult-ophilia? My point is, for either case, the teacher has performed sexual assault. It should be person's intent that matters, rather than the age group of the victims. Which is why arresting someone just for sleeping with a person in a different age group without taking into consideration of anything else is... rather silly.


Laws, for the most part, is kind of messed up. A lot of innocent people are put in prison, whereas a lot of truly sick fucks are allowed to run around free. I've been a jury in several animal cruelty/abuse cases, and let me tell you - it doesn't matter what the intent of the crime was, and it doesn't matter if the person was a sadistic monster or something like that. All animal abusers will get no more than 2 years in prison because let's face it - animals can't speak up.

But I digress. Back on topic with the discussion of this "genius" doctor thinking that he knows so much about rape.
