That's a good point you made there about giving some playing time to the younger kids. I mean, you never know how they will turn out unless you play them....The St. Louis Blues took a chance and play Barret Jackman under the guidance of Maclnnis and look how he turn out...Now i'm not saying any one of the leafs prospect is going to turn out that way...but you never know unless you give them the opportunity to showcase themselves....Spiker said:Let's wait and see on that. I just got tickets to the charity open practice on October 5, I look forward to seing some of the young guys show their stuff. The size of these guys and the speed of the NHL game always amazes me.

If I remember correctly, Toronto beat Ottawa 3 consecutive seasons, thus going farther in those 3 years....
as for last year, that was the first time in 5 years and under Quinn that they didnt make it out of the 1st round
