The Leafs are pursuing a number of trade scenarios presently.the_big_E said:

Cujo would like to play in Toronto, the Leafs will sign him, only if they can trade Belfour.
Carter will be signed by Toronto if the above trade does not pan out. If the Leafs trade Belfour, it will involve a forward and defenseman, with other Leaf Players involved. If this occurs, the Leafs will then sign Cujo and Carter will not be signed. If the trade does not pan out, the Leafs will keep Belfour and sign Carter. Carter has already taken his physical with the Leafs. The trade discussions are still ongoing. Detroit is one of the teams that are involved in these trade discussions.
CUJO is the one who left us because he thought Detroit was going to win the cup and he didnt. We should give Eddie one more year to get us to the cup finials.
It would be tacky to trade Belfour away... He is one of the best ever, and should be allowed to end his carear in Toronto. Besides, he won't be that bad this year...
