Prostitution is illegal in Las Vegas. You will either get arrested or scammed (and the latter is probably just as bad as the former). You have to drive outside of LV to certain counties to find legal brothels (e.g. chicken ranch) and there is no standard rate and each girls get to quote her own price (so $$$ for less service). LV is good for gambling, shows and food but not hobbying.

Its quite surprising to me, the number of guys who think Vegas is a place to go to blow off steam in a seedy sort of way. Its far from the den of iniquity its reputation suggests. Yes you can go get drunk in Vegas, and gamble, but its not the place to go to be bad. Its 'above-board' partying, with cops and private security everywhere. Its fun to visit, but Toronto and Montreal are dirtier cities, in that sense. And, Europe and Asia offer the true seedy experiences. Vegas is partytown for the CBC crowd.
I was in VEGAS a few months back....tons of guys on the street handing out a gazillion cards with the hottest looking chicks..starting at $39!!!! They even have those trucks with massive signage detailing the same driving up & down the strip...
I was totally intrigued by these flyers & ads with the super hot chicks and the crazy low rates..So, I had to ask about it, so I asked two of the cab drivers I had used and they broke it down for me....
The low cost is BS...you never get that rate...the intro rate is like between 150-250..and that is just for the lady to come and visit you to discuss your options, which BTW is on top of what you have just paid, also the lady has a body guard or two who escort her to the room-but at the same time, this is not first hand knowledge, it is what the cab drivers told me...
Also, when you stay at the better hotels, security guards guard the elevator lobby and you must show your room card to proceed to the elvators.

Why do you even look to pay for it there? Just asking... because I saw a lot of sex being given away so to speak.

The trick is you can’t plan it or approach them too directly. Well, you can plan it once you’ve made the connection if you ask for their number.
Like anything, you have to use some common sense but you really can spot them out the crowd.
In fact, Vegas is my favorite way to hobby since you can pick them out and see who you prefer in advance and then make arrangements.
Besides, they will likely pick you out of the crowd, just go and enjoy a few beers and the rest will happen, trust me.

Honestly the think that bothers me the most is the whole bartering deal. I don't want to sit and talk for a 1/2 hour trying to get the lady down to a reasonable price, I definitely will not spend 4 or $500 for an SP.
That's what I like most about a lot of the ladies here and other sites, here's the menu, here's the price.
If that's your thing (and face it, isn't that all of our thing?), you should go to Thailand.
Valid concern buddy, i just say i have $200 and thats it, take it or leave it. Granted, this may not work at 8pm not with everyone. I have even had super hot say ok but just for 30 mins, so upstairs i went.
We do have it good here in TO and there is an element of risk so other posters have a point to say just hobby here. like i said in my previous post, just go with low hobby expectations and enjoy a few beers and the rest will happen, trust me.
Been there and done that buddy. Vegas is easier to explain these days, its hard to say im going to Thailand for a tradeshow or conference

Just back from Vegas, and I echo your sentiments.
I didn't even go there for sex, but it was handed to me on a platter at a good price. Who am I to say no, specially to a smoking hot bod.
Having said that, I didn't go looking for one, and won't in future.
With the economic downturn Vegas was hit first and worst. Lots of layoffs. Its also the largest per capaita for single moms so lots of desperate ladies looking for rent. They are actually pretty agressive now. Go to the medium casinos. I found luxor/excaliber to be good. Even got them signalling withmy wife with me! Negotiate to 200-250. I told them in the past how it works in T.O. And they were fine with that. Just use common sense and if your radar is at all up walk
