If I were to design the perfect vacation city, I would start with Las Vegas as the base.

Of course, Vegas SC and SP options are expensive and sketchy, so if it were magically possible, I would move all the Montreal off-island-type SCs to Vegas, give them a fancy neon makeover and that does the job for the SCs.

As for the SPs, I'd take the Montreal SPs and their associated reasonable prices, and move them to Vegas, mixing in American SPs as well, under the Montreal outcall agency model (making minor improvements such as adding daytime hours).

I would convince the casino bosses that the affordable SPs will bring more guys than ever, more to fill the casinos with.

The great casinos of Vegas combined with Montreal style hobbying: that'd be my perfect vacation spot! Too bad that'd never happen.

if you're looking for dancers under 21, you can go to one of many juice bars along industrial road or western avenue. full nude clubs in vegas can not serve alcohol. this means that dancers between 18-21 can work here. they're much smaller scale clubs than the gentleman clubs. i've never been. just passing on info i heard from a vegas dancer.

Last I was in Vegas there was a pricing war going on between the SC, so they were recuiting cabbies to bring people there. A cabbie saw me walking, and basically gave me a free lift AND cash for cover to Sapphires... cause apparently they were paying HIM more to get me there. So I literally got in for free... they figure I'll spend more money once inside, but at least I could a free lookaround in case it's not my thing.

I was in Vegas recently and the SC's have (at least for the time being) stopped doing this. I had done some research on TERB and wanted to see if cabbies would go for this but they wouldn't bite. I confirmed it as I waited to see them drive off without exchanging any money with the doormen at the club after I was dropped off (in the past I had remembered the cabbies always getting up to have a profitable 'handshake' with the doormen.) Again, this may very likely be due to the fact I went in December, which is a slow month.

Spearmint Rhino was far and away the SC with the most dancers and best quality in terms of eye candy. Olympic Gardens and Crazy Horse II were disappointing in contrast to previous times I had visited them and Scores just didn't appeal to me at all. I have been to Sapphires in the past and find it to be way too huge and glitzy with no bang for your buck. Cheetah's has taken a step back in recent years.

All in all, I had a good time hobbying but found the cab drivers to be the one big thumbs down of the trip. Aside from a couple of honest ones, these guys just always come off as tip-obsessed, soulless scammers who will say and do anything to get you where they want and using the route they want. Never believe any "recommendation" you get from a cabbie on a SC, MP or anything hobby-related. They are just saying what they need to so they can get their slice when they drop you off at some lame club that is paying them for business. Stick with the well-known clubs (Rhino, CHII, OG, and to a lesser extent Cheetah's, Club Paradise and Sapphires). Also, if you can memorize or gain knowledge of an efficient route - always dictate it to the cab driver when you get in and make sure they take it.

No one has mentioned it but there are some massage places that may be worth the visit. They are asisn and located on Spring Mountain Road. The cabbie knew where to go. One was Miyako or something like that.

I haven't been to Vegas for a few years, but when I went last time, I went to 2 MPs and the flip was gratifying. Prices were in line with those in Toronto, but the girls I saw seemed timid about venturing beyong topless for fear of being caught. The other thing to note was that, in both cases, the massage was excellent.

I don't know if you've already had your trip I'll assume not.

You need to go with a friend. It is a great place, but everyone is on the make and on the take. I have been to vegas consistantly 2 times per year since 1997. Everytime I go with a good friend who is financially equal to me. You have to make sure you go with someone who can drop the same amount of cash, otherwise it becomes a downer when you are ready to party on night 3 and he's already busted.

Crazy Horse Too on Sahara is my favorite place. Spent 13 hours there one day. 12 am to 1 pm, when I opened the door to leave I was blinded by the light.

Make sure you take a cab or a limo, the clubs are not supposed to pay for the cab to make the drop anymore, but the limo's work well- freebies to rip clubs.

The dances at all clubs do not hold a candle to the GTA clubs. Where there is booze there are panties (sigh) Now, YMMV... in 98 I laid a sweet Hawaian girl back at the hotel after several dances in the club- P.A.R.T.Y. After that night, my return visits to the club were of the Fantasia quality!

Club paradise was also fun, very sexy girls, we took a few out to dinner on the same visit, good company and 2 out of three were screwing in the limo after dinner.

Just go for the party, bring a friend who can keep up with you, financially and intake (booze). The real party is at Tangarine on the sofa's $400 minimum and of course PURE. You will not be disapointed, just make sure you get loaded.

Back from the desert

This thread was really useful, hope it helps others, personally I cannot add that much.

I did go to a SC on Las Vegas Blvd. called Olympia Gardens (although reading this thread maybe it is 'Olympic'- all white free standing building near the Stratsophere and tucked between Wedding Chapels). It was without question a waste of time and money, I am here to testify that we here in GTA don't know how good we have it. The dancers were very money hungry, and had no skill to approach the topic. The omni-present bouncer that navigated around the odd shaped rooms bothered me, especially since the place was very empty. I went around 2PM on a wednesday. It remind me of Club Pro only in the sense of constant tipping to men I don't even know- door guy, host that seats you, vip and waitress (who was a guy for some reason- never trust a SC with a male waiter in my experience; if a club can't get a waitress something is wrong.)

The other places I never got around to seeing the inside of, but they definitely are not on the strip. Going to and from the airport I saw Chettahs, but I would stress that there really are no SC in easy walking distance from the Strip. They do have signs advertsing strippers on places near Olympia Gardens, but they are really just porno video stores with peep shows. The signs say "Beautiful Live Nude Dancers" but I could not see a live female anywhere in the place and ducked out because the guys inside kind of repulsed me. I think the other sign attached to the place was more telling "Dancers Wanted". Went to Fremont Street once (what a dump IMHO, reminded of the old CNE Midway or NF's Cliffton Hill(?) area, the cheap tourist merchandise and carnival midway smell left much to be desired.) I decided against going into Glitter Glutch as the stripper in the front waving me inside looked kind of drunk and fat.

As far as the Taxi cab tipping (aka kickback) routine from SC, while I was there the big news is the city backed off outlawing that practice. Supposedly the taxi cabs made a big stink, and the measure was put off on voting. I don't know if it is completely a dead issue, but the taxi cab drivers I talked to seemed very happy they had won the right to get 'tips' from the clubs. Apparently the measure to ban it came from smaller SC who could not afford such large kickbacks to taxi drivers.

That's it guys. My grand total of experiences to recommend. Overall, I liked it, the sun and heat was nice coming from a cold Toronto, got to 70f each day. Personally I will say- best place to meet 'chicks'- MGM Grand Race & Sports Book, I 'scored' with a 47 year mother of three from Oklahoma- doesn't sound great, but never refuse a women with viagara. first time I tried it, all I can say- it works.

The Las Vegas strip club heydays during the late 90s when conference attendees would arrive in droves and throw piles of cash at the clubs are gone.

Olympic Garden used to be packed 24 hours a day (technically it's still open 24/7, but dead during the day). Crazy Horse Too seems to be still busy (not like the past) and I am sure Cheetahs (where the locals hang out) is too. I know a waitress there and she's told me she isn't making as much money. I can't vouch for other places as I haven't been in any other strip club there for 2 years.

But the women are still smoking hot - a cut above Toronto standards.

I lived in Vegas for 3 years, and this I can pass on....
Ignore everybody but cab drivers > They know their shit. Yes, thay too are on the take, but they still know their shit.
2nd > CRAZY HORSE !!!!!!! Do not go to Vegas without at least one visit to Crazy Horse.
