Probably because it was in bad taste by naming him a a thread about his fetish with non consenting adults involved. Everything he does is consensual. I don’t think you would like to be joked about as a sexual predator.

Think before you post and act like an adult. You could probably repost if you don’t link Rocco to it. It is not overly sensitive people. It is just called respect for others.

The truck had the right of way.

Correct, the truck was on Hwy1, TransCanada, the bus was on Hwy 5 which crosses #1.
The bus had a stop sign but that’s all there is on that highway, similar to the Humboldt crash except the level of traffic is much higher on the road with the right of way, about 10x higher So chances of getting hit if you run the stop sign are substantially higher.
Sadly not the first major accident/fatality at this intersection, usually a fatality there every couple of years.
I should have actually driven through there last night but due to a change in plans ended up a little north of there.

That intersection looks like a death trap. Must be hell to cross in a winter storm.

It is, and there are 1000s of others just like between Winnipeg and Calgary. The minute the wind comes up, which is all the time, and you get a slightest bit of snow the visibility is next to nothing. Worse part is about 10% of traffic is still blowing through there at 110+ while the bulk of traffic is down to 70 or 80. I‘m actually surprised we don’t see more accidents than we already do.
I was I Calgary this week and had 3 near misses on my way home due to people taking ridiculous chances that saved them maybe 10 seconds.
Saw a guy on a big Honda Goldwing lane split two semis at about 120 just outside of Canmore. That guy absolutely has a death wish.

The guy on the Goldwing, that's why I don't respect motorcycle drivers. So many do it.

I lived out west for 3 years. The roads in Manitoba are so flat you can see for miles and there are few trees to block your view. This happened in the middle of June so can't blame snow/ice.

I still remember driving into Winnipeg the first time. Road was so flat you could see the city from several miles away. I actually got the Cougar up to 130mph and then chickened out for fear a tire might blow up.

Yep, it’s usually some young guy on a crotch rocket,
Females love the vibration of the engine. Took a lot of females on my bike during my Montreal days. They would sit behind me with their legs wrapped around me and their breasts pressed hard against my back. I'll post a pic if I find them.

Must have been a while ago, lol Canmore is an hour west of Calgary not Edmonton.
Yes, it was so long ago I got Edmonton and Calgary mixed up.

I'm starting to remember a bit more now. I dropped off the girl in Canmore and then proceeded to drive to Edmonton to drop off the car at the dealership. From there I took the train to Vancouver (23 hours over the Rockies).

Now that I think more about it, I dropped off the woman in Canmore, bypassed Calgary and drove straight to Edmonton to drop off the car at the dealership. I guess it's ok to say Canmore is outside Edmonton because it is outside Edmonton (although it is closer to Calgary but I didn't stop in Calgary).

BTW: RCMP has confirmed truck had right of way.

Seems the transport had the right of way according to the RCMP.
Truck had a dashcam which seems to be common among truck drivers. Most likely for insurance.

This is the second crash like this on the Trans- Canada Highway while trudeau and his liberal Ministers have been in charge of it.
