Stay away from MDG... crap quality and even crappier service... sure it's cheap but they're absolutely horrible.

Dell's are very reliable and they're cheap too... Acer and Compaq are good alternatives as well... you can get a decently equipped laptop for about $800-$900... and if you wanna really shop around, go to Pacific Mall at Kennedy/Steeles.

The only laptop I ever found reliable was a hot curly haired brunette at the Sundowner whose name excapes me.
