Perhaps her 'copying' is actually a form of social commentary brought to life? I guess it's just easier to persecute her as a copy cat, and dismiss her talent than to appreciate the more subtle aspects of her artistic delivery.

Yes, I used the word "subtle" to describe Lady Gaga! The irony is great.

Regardless, she is a great artist. Her songs are good.

plaigiarizing is not a social comentary folks with talent don't need to copy others and all her songs are monotonous and all sound the same

Her social commentary might be you can create really bad pop music and market it as different and people think you are a genius.

LGG is the real deal. Comparisons to Britney Spears et al are ridiculous.

But I do like some of her songs - they are catchy.

I'm way outside the age demographic for her audience, but I think some of her songs are catchy.

As for whether or not she has longevity, who knows? I doubt it but I also know in the early '80s I would have bet against Madonna having longevity.

And who in the '70s would have guessed Ozzy Osbourne would have found ways to reinvent himself? So you never know for sure.
