Ladies Who Ask For Tips

I've used agencies in other parts of the country, and have had experiences where the lady outright "demanded" a tip! I saw one lady for a second appointment not too long ago, and during our chat before she left she said 'What, no tip this time?".

I can't tell you how much of a turn off this is. IMO, it demonstrates a complete lack of class and social refinement.

Of course I will give you a tip (advice).
I will give you a very good tip.

Never ask for a tip.

A tip is something that is given.

A tip is not something that is asked for.
Of course there are times when a tip is very appropriate (restaurants) and some people do not tip or tip very little.
Then it would be quite acceptable to enlighten the cheap idiot(s) in a polite way.

Asking for a tip is extremely crass and rude.

I was once at a SC and spent a half hour with a girl and even bought her a drink when she asked ... after I paid her what I owed, she asked for a tip ... I had a good time with her so looked in my wallet and I had $5 left ... I offered it to her but she said she wouldn't accept anything less than $10 ... when I tried to explain that I only had $5, she got angry at me, called me some names in spanish and then stormed away ... needless to say I never got dances from that girl again

ok my coffee is more of a reward than a tip! i feel bad for asking for them now that i read all the comments. so who ever bought me a coffee gets a free 1/2 hour on my return

Another one you just have to love is when you go and get your hair and eyebrows done and spend almost 90.00 and give the woman 100.00 and she puts it all in the cash register and assumes that her tip is a whole 10.00 and just says thank you. Especially when they spend most of their time talking on the phone or to others and in between times fixing thier nails and taking thier sweet time getting back to you and conversing with a man to get them a coffee and then later spending much time drinking said coffee.

What you do in this situation to drive the point home, is look directly at the lady, and pointedly say, "excuse me, you forgot to give me back my change." It's all about the principle of it. I would never let anyone get away with something like that.

Tipping

The main sense in tipping is so that the service staff who are not in charge of the rates paid by clientele have incentive to perform their service in exemplary fashion.

The best example of this is, of course, the restaurant, where the owners and business managers determine the prices and the staff is to earn some small pittance which is usually subsidized by reasonable gratuities.

With independent SP's, who do indeed set their own prices in advance, there isn't so much a need for the tradition of tipping.

(When Demi Moore decided to accept the $1,000,000 indecent proposal, was it really $833,333 plus tip? Or did there need to be another $200,000 on top of the $1,000,000 in the way of a tip?)

If you're an independent, just set your rates exactly where you'd want them, and your clientele will decide whether they'll return and see you for that amount a second time.

What is the use in needlessly creating an atmosphere which invariably leads one side or the other to have bad feelings of either deceit or disappointment? What does an independent SP gain from such a move?

Psychologically humans are quite comfortable with an "all inclusive" number with no hidden expenses on top.

I think asking for a tip is not proper but I think that men forget that if a lady does a great job that they should give a tip. She'll remember you a lot better the next time.

Just a thought, maybe more of you should tip your ladies more.
