Ladies, How did you get started in the Business

I mentioned this in another thread a while back that when asked this question of why they got into the business, some women are hesitant to say they are here to make money. They may say other things that they enjoy sex, companionship etc and it may be true but why should someone be made to feel bad about making money in a lucrative business? If I originally responded to this thread and said "Yes, I'm here to make money." What would you honestly think? Maybe some would think that I'm a superficial and/or selfish individual and that I will be someone who is not into being an escort. I am under the impression that many associate those who have a desire to make money will just be "in it for the money and nothing else." Yet this does not apply to me.

Because I refuse to make-up things, sugarcoat or just lie, does that make me a gold-digger, selfish, etc? We all have jobs in order to make money and support ourselves and I don't feel bad at all for saying this. I feel I have brought a lot of satisfaction to my clients during my time as an SP. I am motivated by a lot of things and I feel I have a head for business and not just this one. Perhaps it's just the etiquette of the business to just say you'r ehere for a good time and that's it. Would it make you feel bad if an SP said to you that she's here to make a living? Or do you just dont' want to hear it at all? I'm curious if anyone wishes to respond.

I think you're reading way too much into the question... the question was HOW did you get into the biz... not WHY. No shit its for the money and flexibility...

it was just an off hand question in the lounge area....maybe it will yeild an interesting anecdote to read...thats all

As far as I can see you can switch up the circumstances but the common thread for getting into the biz is the money. Most of these women are supporting one or more of the following

a) themselves
b) their family (be it child, bf, husband, parents, pets etc)
c) a certain lifestyle (doesn't have to be jet setting or crazy parties could just be one that the average 9 to 5 can't afford)
d) an addiction (not necessarily drugs could be shoes, antiques etc)
e) paying off a debt

I'm not knocking anyone for their responses to the question, no matter what they have to say. I just thought that it would make an interesting topic, because of the answers I got when I asked it one on one with a couple of Ladies that I get along with very well. They were candid with their answers at the time. The "why" was the same with both and that was for the "MONEY"
