I am considering getting one

What type of tattoos are sexy?;)

One needs to get input from the ladies on this one as removing them is time consuming, expensive and risky as they use lasers

Get a tattoo that is meaningful to you. If you're worried about what others will think about it, you're guaranteed to regret it later.

+1

However for men I'm attracted to, I personally prefer no tattoos. I think some of them look really cool and awesome, some even badass, but for some reason a man without any tattoos is like the holy grail for me.

Probably because so many people have them. I have noticed many regret some of the ones they do have. Which makes sense if you got it at 16 or something lol. Maybe you won't ever regret it, but get it for yourself, not for someone else. Tattoos are a form of expression but they shouldn't be based on society's approval, like what Frank says.

I'm not a big fan of tattoos but there is something about one on a well-sculpted bicep. Especially in mish....

You are getting a tattoo for the wrong reasons and you'll regret it later.

I agree

I never said I was going to get the tattoo women prefer

Only get the tattoo you want, but if it is also good to know if it turns on/off ladies

As it is permanent, it is a hard decision

Start off with something small that is easy to cover up then see how you feel about it

A little advice from someone with lots of tattoos. Get what you like. Worrying too much about what it means will screw up the whole process. Worrying about what others think is silly. You should only be concerned about this if you are tattooing your face. Do your research and find someone you think does good tattoos. If they have a wait list than wait. Go big if you want. Covering small tattoos is sometimes easy and sometimes a big headache. Good tattoos are not cheap so you will get what you pay for.

The Hardy Boys Detective Handbook taught me to record all "distinguishing marks" of suspected felons.

That being the case, and seeking not to be distinguished among fellow felons, i have eschewed tattoos. (Hasn't stopped me from wanting to hump inked women though.)
