Interesting... I was going to first give shit about guys and street activities... but this might be a little different.
That area is roach motels and it makes you wonder whether LE are watching and setting traps.
I don't know if I've ever seen a street walker in that area... but anything is possible I guess.

In the other article, the one about the Radisson, the three women were all between the ages of 15 and 20, nowhere near the ages of the first group, and the charges were Bawdy House related.
Sounds like the police in K-W have been *really* bored lately, if they're going after prostitution this hard ...

I don't think the two are related. In the first one, the three women are all between the ages of 33 and 42, and they were charged with soliciting in public - which is an awefully-streetwalking-sounding thing.
In the other article, the one about the Radisson, the three women were all between the ages of 15 and 20, nowhere near the ages of the first group, and the charges were Bawdy House related.
Sounds like the police in K-W have been *really* bored lately, if they're going after prostitution this hard ...

street stuff will always be a priority for obvious reasons but hopefully they will not start an "incall rampage" based on this incident.
usually that is a complaint driven thing.
seems it was an accident that they discovered the big brothel so they put a spin on it and made comments to let all believe that they were/are actually investigating this type of thing.
maybe thats why 1 girl i have seen regularly has moved herself to guelph?

The 2 incidents are separate. Wednesday was definitely street level busts. However, it's fairly obvious that WRPS is up to something. Mind you, the street level busts probably have more to do with the Olympic Torch coming to town than anything else.

Well if this kind of thing is the WRPS top priority then things are really screwed up "unless" the women they found were being forced to do this. They have one of the worst rates for solving serious crimes but they are ontop of this one. In the last week there have been at least 2 people mugged on the streets, a couple armed hold-ups and whatever else we don't even hear about. These are serious crimes!!!!! Who wants to bet they will all become "cold cases"?
Probably in the crackhead area around Charles street. Some asian MPs in that area too

Funny thing is there is always an 'ongoing investigation into illegal sexual activities within the region'. It's literally part of their job. They know that no matter how many they were to arrest and charge that there's just be new ones to replace them. It's a VERY old industry lol.
Just leading up to Christmas there was a bust at the Radisson Hotel (not a Roach Motel at all, actually quite a nice place) and people were charged with prostitution in that case. I wonder if this is the bust that The Record was reporting in that story.
