Loyal Order of Water Buffalo Lodge No. 26.
So having heard much hype about this spa opening over the last few months, I decided I should get there before the "new spa smell" wore off.

Booking - I had to cancel my appointment, then I was able to uncancel it soon after. The receptionist was super friendly, and gave no attitude for me being a pain in the ass. I was able to get an appointment within a couple of hours.

Parking - if you are local and concerned about your car being spotted, walk over from Costco. They have a parknership (get it?!) in the works soon, but it's not there yet. The outside of the building is quite discrete.

Inside - very nice first impression. Receptionist is completely drool worthy. I could have spent the half hour just talking to her instead. The building is a brand new renovation, so everything is shiny, clean, and tastefully decorated.

The room - it turns out I was in the smallest room, and it did feel a bit cramped. Then again, I wasn't the one who had to walk around the table. The bed was a bit high, but I'm 5'7" and it's not like I needed a ladder or anything. I'm told they are being lowered soon. Lots of hot water and pressure in the shower, but no door though, so watch where you point the nozzle. (The shower nozzle, you pervert!) Electric candles in the corners were a nice touch. Overall a nice ambiance.

The massage - all I'm going to say is that I saw Brooklyn on her first and last day. She was a sweet girl, gave an OK massage, but otherwise was really not suited to work there.

Customer service - I spoke with the owner at length today to share my experience. Most of my feedback were things she already was working on, but I was able to catch a couple of typos on the webpage, so yay me. As for the massage, I have a free makeup session waiting for me. There's really not much more I could ask for than that.

So why did I just write such a long review over a meh massage? Well, the girls will change over time, and they will get their own reviews and reputations. But we don't pay $140+ just for a handjob, and this is my perspective on the rest of the experience. Customer service - 10/10. Facilities - 8/10.

So, Peterborough locals, pick a girl and give them a try. Let's get this business off to a solid start so they can succeed. That means more attendants, more variety, and more time for more visits for us by not having to drive to Oshawa or Pickering. Or god forbid, Reid St.

Unfortunately, Brooklyn was the only attendant I hired without meeting and when she arrived I felt awful asking her to leave. Let's just say she was relieved when I told her that she wouldn't be able to stay on with us. All of our other attendants have been hand picked and are not only gorgeous but provide an excellent session. Looking forward to meeting you!

Are these legit pictures? Parking would be an issue for me as I usually have a trailer in tow when I'm in peterborough...

We have a pretty large parking lot. I'm almost positive you'll be able to fit. If you have an issue let me know and we can move our cars but the unit includes 3 loading dock for transport trucks so you should be just fine.

Let’s start at the beginning. I’ve been reading about the Kingsway Spa for a few months now, their long process to get licences and be able to open.

So my first contact was a phone call to arrange an appointment. The lady who answered the phone could not have been more pleasant and helpful. I made the booking for 10am on a Wednesday morning with Jordon. The receptionist asked me to call back the morning of the appointment to confirm which I did.
I arrived, parked my car in the ample spaces provided. When I walked through the door I was met with a beautiful smile which totally matched the young receptionist who gave it. She was extremely helpful and showed me to the massage room.
The space was large with a great sized shower, fresh towels and toiletries. I was invited to shower and told that Jordon would be with me shortly.
Freshly showered and settled on the huge massage table Jordon walked in and wow! The pictures on the website didn’t do her justice. She was absolutely stunning. Not only that she also knew how to hold a conversation and had a get sense of humour.
The massage was sublime and totally blew any expectations I had out of the water. Her touch and awareness of what I needed was quite unbelievable.
After the massage we both showered and Jordon mentioned the loyalty program to me. Being recognised for being a loyal customer is not something normally associated with massage spas so another plus.
On my way out the receptionist explained the loyalty program in a little more detail and the owner popped out to say hi and give even more details. The owner! Oh my goodness, my legs turned to jelly. This place is amazing.
Needless to say, I booked another hour long session with Jordon and I floated off into the rest day feeling like a king. If there is a quintessential experience of what a Spa should be like, this is it!

Great review. Just FYI though, I've already called dibs on the receptionist. :)

Thanks for the reviews, fellas. I live just outside of Ptbo now and was pretty psyched to not have to visit the more... uh... shady establishment in town anymore so wanted to jump on this asap. Decided to let some of the kinks get worked out first but sounds like other than the unfortunate new girl's first and last day, everything is in great working order. Going to book my first session soon!
