KFC gravy rocks!
First, a KFC horror story: My brother-in-law worked at a KFC (years ago, it's not there anymore) and the chicken would arrive at the store in plastic bags. They would toss the bags from one to the other to unload the truck. Now and then one would drop onto the gravel of the parking lot. Manager would tell them to just rinse it off before cooking. ewwwww
But there are stories like this at every place, not only fast food. I remember a guy I went to school with, his dad owned an upscale place .... the kid told tales of whacking off and dropping lugies (and way more) on a guy's steak who had the audacity to order it well done ..... he went to ask if the guy liked the abused hunk of beef and the guy said it was the absolute best he ever had! sometimes the special seasoning isn't what you'd think ..... so who's going out for dinner tonight? *lol*
Gotta love KFC gravy! If you think it's good on the fires try it on mashed potatoes (in the US they've sold mashed forever, b4 they sold fries). And their fries are pretty great if cooked properly .......
Gotta say my SO likes Dixie Lee but I've always found their chicken dried out and their gravy can't hold a candle to KFC ....... IMO never tried Popeyes, have always heard it's good ... too bad no stores around Ottawa
If you're in the states and hanker for a good chicken sandwich try Chick-fil-A ..... except on Sunday, they're closed
Oh yeah, original post ..... glad you're going to the top with it .... I rarely get satisfaction for the local store with issues, only when you go over their heads do they seem to care ...... hope they don't send you coupons for KFC! You may want to ask for Pizza Hut, A&W or Taco Bell (uhoh, stories there abound!) coupons as they own all those and more *laff*
