You do not know the difference between a mandate and a suggestion? Yes, masks have almost eliminated the common cold and flu so I am sure many will keep wearing the masks by choice. Does it bother you if someone chooses to wear a mask if you're not told you must wear one?

Albeit in your case as an unwashed you should have restrictions placed on you and privileges revoked until you get washed.

That for me is the most baffling thing. If tomorrow masks are no longer necessary then by all means take yours off but the hell would you care if others do? I occasionally saw people long before covid wearing masks (especially in asian communities) and it stood out to me because they were the exceptions but it never twisted my shorts in a knot. If anything I figured they were probably smart to avoid all the other germs and nasty shit going around.
It seemed like after SARS everyone started buying hand sanitizer bottles. Did deniers get bent of shape back then? "Sheep! Look at you spreading that shit into your skin because you have been programmed to!"

Yea I will still wear a mask in crowded places for the foreseeable future. Especially because there are still so many unvaccinated. I will be protected from serious illness thanks to being fully vaccinated but I still dont want to get it, feel even a little bit sick or worse yet spread it to others who cannot be vaccinated for legitimate reasons.

I think everyone needs to take their own personal risk assessment in regards to masks.

If you're in a high risk group and need to take public transit then perhaps wearing a mask makes sense for you.

For me, the masks are an enormous pain in the ass, especially when working hours at a time in them. It's a completely
unnatural way to live. We're supposed to be able to see each other and communicate. It looks like we're in an emergency room.

Yes, I (and many others) haven't had a cold in 1.5 years, but much of that has been social distancing and being at home
all the time rather than just the help of masks.

Bottom line: if you choose to wear a mask I won't judge, but please let me go back to living my life.
