The Liberals need a woman to go toe to toe with Andrea Horwath. Plus, Kathleen will get the gay vote which normally goes to the NDP.
That could mean an NDP government.I hope she wins the Liberal leadership she's a female version of Ignatieff. Put them back years.
Sad state of affairs. The Liberals need a woman to go toe to toe with Andrea Horwath. Plus, Kathleen will get the gay vote which normally goes to the NDP.
That was the best decision that she has ever made, for everyone's sake.........she resigned from cabinet.
lol....I think that place is reserved for your Liberals at the moment. At least until the stench blows away.Agreed. With Hoodak at the helm, there's a very real possibility that the CON's will be the third party after the next election. Then we'll see who will be deserting the sinking CONservative ship.
If the NDP gets elected they will finish destroying what is left of the Ontario economy.Actually it's the perfect time for the NDP to get elected, when there is less than no money and with the public reasonably pissed at the teachers - good luck with that. I don't think Horwath would make a very good Harris.
A more likely scenario is the Liberals finish third, unless they can quickly find a way to win back all those unions. I'm not sure trust can be rebuilt that quickly (and anything they do try might alienate many other voters).I think it's pretty well agreed that the Lib's won't win the next election. But depending on who the new Grit leader is, and given Hoodak's lack of leadership skills, it's a distinct possibility that the NDP will form the next government and Hoodak will end up in third place.
Never had the burden of governing so never made any mistakes in government. Easy to be a sideline quarterback.I think the keys to Horwath's popularity is that she's able to hit both the symbol of change and security.
I heard her on CBC this morning and she absolutely refused to answer direct questions regarding the teacher's bill and the gas plant.....just another fast talkin' tap dancer who'll never get my supportWynne says she wants to fix the Liberals' relationship with teachers but she won't repeal the wage-freeze legislation.

I'm not sure how that works.
