This is becoming a common theme with athletes. They have the money that everyone would love to have. Than they go do this shit. I have no sympathy with these people.

Yep, did not take long for it to happen again here in the USA, this time it was some ex cop, so likely once again another legal gun owner goes flipping out and commits a murder, then hates himself for what he did so much he kills himself.

We can try to find all the excuses we want but at the end of the day this was just an evil act by an evil person. He had a history of battery on ex girlfriends, although authorities failed to lay charges. Apparently he was on narcotics and drinking pretty heavily and that triggered his action.
The children's father met the media earlier to-day but couldn't say much because of the ongoing investigation. The mother who was in the house at the time is now in hospital.
And you can read scores of articles in British newspapers about stabbings, bludgeonings and shootings that happen in the U.K.
If you refer to when he was in University - there was no battery. There certainly may have been anger management issues - punching out a window and a wall are not wise ideas, but they are certainly better than beating your girlfriend.
This idiot did not sustain any form of emotional trauma like Chris Benoit. A violent man playing a violent sport, he was too dumb to figure out when to draw the line. At least he took his own worthless life, Kansas/Missouri has the death penalty. He may possibly have had a conscience as well, which is more than I can say for Ray Lewis.
IMHO, the focus should be on the murder victim, her family and the poor baby who is left to grow up without a mother or father. If you want to die by taking your own life, go ahead. Leave the ones you leave behing alone.
