Facing the need to win battleground Pennsylvania, Vice President Kamala Harris is swearing off any prior assertion that she opposed fracking

Harris's climate hypocrisy is downright obnoxious if you remember how
she once tried to pressure the supreme-court-judge-to-be to confront climate
change. Fracking ban is only good for the climate when it suits her.
She will be willing to suck the cocks of the CEOs of Chevron, Exxon and
the CEOs of nation's biggest coal miners to appease the fossil fuel
industry for votes.

She probably doesn't suck those cocks near as good as Donnie and his anti nuclear heat policies

Trump solicited an outright bribe from the fossil fuel industry- give me a billion and I'll do whatever you want, or words to that effect.
Biden did not oppose fracking either. But he needed to win Pennsylvania. So kamala will do the same.
I don't get the sudden clutching of pearls here. Trumps been doing 180's based on contributions his whole political career to get votes or contributions. Now all of the sudden hypocrisy is an issue?

That is a choice between voting for a climate denier cock sucker
and climate hypocrite cock sucker. if the latter would just screw up
Earth's climate as bad people would likely be more inclined to support
the former. Don't you prefer the path to impending climate catastrophe
to be a worry-free joy ride?

When it comes to climate change doing 180's is more bizarre than
to reverse position on other issues. Sure, it is nothing uncommon
for politicians to change their stance. By now it should be clear that
climate promises of politicians are not meant to be kept. In fact
carbon emission invariably continue growing with climate positive
leaders in charge. What marks Harris from other climate hypocrite
leaders out is that she reverses her position well before she is elected
to power. Harris could take a lesson from Anthony Albanese in
Australia on the art of climate lies. Albanese had the wisdom of
making pledge of ending the climate war among politicians through
the election to win support from climate sheeple voters. Once in
power his government stepped up with granting permits and licenses
of exploration and development of new coal and gas field to appease
the fossil fuel industry.

Between now and November Harris will likely soften her stance on
climate change when and where it is warranted to avoid upsetting
Big Oil. She probably can still count on support of climate sheeple
given Trump's climate denial record. At any rate Harris will turn out
to be no different from other climate leaders once in power. Carbon
emission will continue growing under her just like it has been under
Biden and, for Canada, Trudeau.

Nah I'm all about sustainability and trying to make things better for the future generations. In another 20 years or so nuclear fusion will solve all of the earth's energy issues, but then what ? Whichever country gets it first is a forever superpower. China has their own project and there is a multi country one in France I believe whoever controls the sun controls thr world

Kamala Harris Vowed to Close Most Immigration Detention Centers: ‘We’ll Shut Them Down’

Vice President Kamala Harris once promised to close most of the nation’s immigration detention centers, saying she would “shut them down” as president. Such a plan would see about 90 percent of all illegal aliens held in detention released.

In 2019, while running in the Democrat presidential primary, Harris told a crowd in Iowa City, Iowa, that she would close immigration detention facilities operated by private contractors who work with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

“When you become president, would you be committing to close the immigration detention centers?” a voter asked Harris, to which she responded:

Absolutely, on day one — on day one … in Homestead, Florida, there is a detention facility — a for-profit detention facility, a private detention facility — that you are paying for … It’s paid for with United States taxpayer dollars that at the time, and I think today, is housing 2,700 children. And when I got there … we tried to get in. They wouldn’t let us in … I walked down the road and climbed a ladder to see what was going on inside, and what I saw, what I saw were children lined up, single-file, based on gender, being walked into barracks. [Emphasis added]
And let’s be clear about these private detention facilities. This means that their business model is that people are profiting off of the incarceration of other human beings, who, in this case, are children. On day one, we’ll shut them down. [Emphasis added]

Electoral realities often suck, eh? True indeed. But i think USA voters know that Harris will lean more toward pro environment than Trump, and by a longshot. As VP her administration HAS a track record of increased funding for renewables etc. Trump admin has a track record of exactly the opposite.
The usual liberal problem is if they can't get their full package, rather than saying "OK, we got some of what we want" they instead go off into the corner and have a tantrum and sulk and pout and vote a third party or don't vote at all which then allows their worst nightmare to be elected. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

And your sources?

Btw, I don't look at news to TELL ME what viewpoint I should have. I read from several sources, gain the common knowledge between them, then formulate my own opinion.

Really this statement is telling. You appear to be more concerned with confirmation bias then actually being informed.

After the DNC it will be a storm of interviews so what is going to be your issue then?? Will you wait for Fox and Friends to give you your talking points or will you try to think of some of your own?
