K-pop musically speaking is just plain garbage, "highly produced, sugary boy- and girl-bands with slick dance routines and catchy tunes." they cater to Asian lovelorn teens

it might not work that way but it should. what is the point of making them fly home, get another type of visa which they are going to get and then fly back? if you are going to issue it anyways then there is no point
It was kind of glossed over in the article, but the airport security did search their luggage and only found suggestively sexy costumes in the luggage. I can't really blame them for thinking this may have been a prosititution issue.

You do realize they were admitted to the country right? They cleared immigration.
It was actually a suspicious customs agent who stopped them & they only did so because of a translation error (not understanding that "sister" doesn't have to mean blood relation in asian culture)

The U.S. Bureau of Customs and Border Protection is a unified agency performing both customs and immigration functions, (in an airport setting) you are not admitted to the United States until you clear the final checkpoint in the "immigration hall".
Further you have an article from a reputable newspaper, magazine, television station you can refer us to stating that they did in fact have the proper visas and they were just arbitrarily refused entry.
