OMG, its like after months of discussion you finally understand what the terms of the discussion are and what the debate is about.
How do you get by in the real world, or do you?
OMG after months of you saying the rich should pay their fair share you finally admit that they do.
My goodness, now what will you complain about and who will you blame things on?

You should thank everyone who makes more money than you for supporting your lifestyle by paying their fair share to make that possible.

Where did I say that, skoob?
Are you kidding me?

You believe you never said "the rich should pay their fair share" in countless threads?
You believe you never said "tax the rich" in countless threads?

Are you senile?

Interesting, so what is Pee Pee going to do to save this country and keep you from running away from this hell hole that has kept you homeless scrounging for food??
I think the damage done to this country by far left wing policies cannot be fully undone. But at least a vote for the CPC should stop any further damage from happening. They will have my support if they address these five key items
1. Getting rid of the carbon tax
2. Restoring some fiscal sanity to the books
3. Stopping the flood of 3rd world asylum seekers we can't afford to take care of
4. Implementing an affordable housing strategy that is effective and sustainable
5. Working to remove DEI policies in our public institutions

I am in for $100, payment via PayPal.
I'm giving Knuckle Ball the first dibs on the bet. If he doesn't want to take it then we'll address the logistics of this.

How is it specific?
???

- Reduce the size of govt: What does that even mean? Fire a whole bunch of federal employees and create unemployment?
the size of the federal govt has been increased by 40%, the federal govt is running perpetual deficit's- figure it out Einstein

- Subject the bank to the federal auditor general: Do they do this already? Even if they don't, subject them to an audit and find what? Sounds like a dog and pony show in the making to point fingers and save face in case PP's policies fail.
sounds like you do not know what oversight is applied
the BofC printed hundreds of billion of dollars, only to watch Trudeau give much of it to the wrong people
Tiff Malkin dropped the ball on inflation and had to raise rates very aggressively because he waited too long
some oversight might be helpful

- Protecting free speech: You mean the same protections the charter already provides?
nope the charter did not prevent Trudeau from declaring an unconstitional emergencies act and freezing bank accounts

he should personally face civil lawsuits for that, however no doubt there is a law prohibiting personal liability for a PM

- Tie federal funding to municipalities: How? How much? What are the complications there?
bill ## to be determined, you expect him to provide detailed figures on housing funding to thousands of municippalities when the official opposition was obstructed from digging into a 60 million dollar arrive scam fraud ?

- So instead of changing zoning, permitting etc, you want to create unemployment and use the unoccupied buildings for housing. Is that were houses are even needed? How does that resolve the housing crisis?
the size of the federal govt has been increased by 40%, the federal govt is running perpetual deficit's- figure it out Einstein
if the building are emptied due to the very necessary downsizing of govt, sell the properties to developers

How many federal buildings are there in Canada?
20,003 owned and leased properties, 41,223,639 hectares of land area, 38,774 buildings, and 27,604,202 square meters of floor space
are you going to pretend none of that cant be repurposed ?

- Study loans for immigrants - Okay.

- [Reduce red tape in energy sector - Okay. How about reducing red tape in housing where such housing is actually needed
,
the red tape is predominantly at the municipal level
Tie federal funding to municipalities to how many homes are built-

the damage Trudeau has done to our energy sector needs to be addressed

instead of pretending to build affordable housing in random areas by firing federal employees and converting federal buildings into housing where people wont even occupy such housing?
do not delude yourself
the size of the federal govt has been increased by 40%, the federal govt is running perpetual deficit's- figure it out Einstein
the size of govt has to be reduced , no if and or buts about it

liberal paul martin shrank govt

As I said barring a couple, the rest sound like hogwash and wishful thinking.
no it sounds like you dismissing out of hand

Where did I say that the rich are paying their fair share right now, skoob?
Exactly. You don't believe that the rich are paying their fair share.
Yet you acknowledge that there is a progressive tax that has rich people paying more.
You also acknowledge that the rich are paying half their income in taxes right now.

If you believe the rich are actually not paying their fair share, you have yet to backup what you expect them to pay if half is not enough. ie define what you believe should be their fair share.

Check the global numbers, where Canada sits is not bad. But given the amount of homeless on the streets and the shoddy shape of our health care and education it needs fixing. That means taxing the rich more, not the poor.

Wrong. Extorting more taxes from people who already pay more than anyone else is a futile ideology you have bought into.
Try again.

You think every country on that chart has bought into a 'futile ideology'?
That means your going to have to go to Haiti, where there is no 'futile ideology' like taxes and progressive taxation.

kautilya. said elon musk and jeff bezos should be taxed at 95% or 99%
valcares said billionairess should not exist

the truth of the matter is the Lonnie's will never be satisfied, no matter how much the rich are taxed
they want to tax the rich until they are rich no more
pure evil envy and spite

and obviously they do not have any understanding of risk/ reward, new product innovation or how our economy functions

pure evil envy and spite combined with stupidity
thats a bad combination

I don't see your favourites on there like China and North Korea. Isn't that where you're headed comrade?

Agreed...and all are inspired by the fallacy that other people's money will never run out, and until it does, they are entitled to it for no other reason other than greed and envy.

no thought was given by these fools about where innovation (venture capital) or economic growth would come from if there is no profit incentive

The CRA's legal obligation to safeguard the confidentiality and integrity of taxpayer information for which the CRA is responsible is stated in the following legislation:
Income Tax Act.Feb 8, 2024
Unless authorized by law, we cannot disclose your tax return information to third parties for purposes other than the preparation and filing of your tax return without your consent.
Charles Little John was sentenced to 5 years in prison because he broke the law

you are so messed up
on one hand you want to prevent the public from viewing publicly available data on forest fire burn data
on the other hand you think you have the right to view a private citizens confidential tax return

slither away now

1, fine, so what will be Pee Pee's climate policy?
2. I see, so what social programs are going to be first? Remember how Harris was trotted out, just sayin'
3. 32% of Asylum seekers have been refused in the first instance and have had to appeal. I guess you expect Pee Pee to aim for 95%?
4) how, by crushing the housing market and decimating your own portfolio if you own property? How are the Conservatives exactly going to do this??
5) I see, yup, those white folks are sure hard done by these days eh?? I can't wait for the hot sun to come out to get rid of all this whiteness doing me in.

As usual, you missed the point but didn't miss a chance to defend the plutocracy.
