What would there be to bust? People in a bar for a party? Nothing illegal would be going on. Are you that naive?
That's just the problem, you'll never get definite numbers, and most places would want a head count that is why Bailey's lost on the deal. There aren't that many SPs/MPs in Hamilton that would attend mainly because it's 2 degrees of separation in this city not 6. I've seen two parties that were successful in Hamilton.
One was MVP at Boomers (Halloween) the other was at the Hamilton Strip (Tanya/Bonnie)
Now renting a floor of a hotel or the party room of a hotel might work, but it's still gonna be like high school boys on one side and girls on the other. LOL.

Why not start with a respectable open bar in a hotel that's large enough, like the Sheraton. You can create an identity like you are there for a company or organization party, such as International Assocation of Pipe and Rod Fitters or Cat Rescue (Pussy) LOL. All someone would do is print some cheap identifying badge that you could put any name on. People would mingle on there own. If you want music, change the venue to Waltz where it would be cheaper, darker, more of a club and discreet, but still close to the Sheraton. Then any girls or guys could previously arrange rooms for themselves.
