True but places in scarborough with a much better massage experience and better looking woman (imo) are $60 for the hour and a $60 tip is more than appreciated... E and M, Superior, Just Relax, Bellagio, Shangri La and almost all of the spas around East Beaver Creek to name a few. I've tried Joy 4 different times and its never better than an ok experience. It's not bad.

Not sure why $160+ is the asian standard in Durham other than the low key spas like Spa On Dundas where $120 is fine.

Any review on Tina the 'spanish' girl working at Joy? It is next to my work so I keep hoping for a gem.

Sorry but I’m not sure that’s accurate. I went to Shangri La and the attendant wouldn’t stop pressuring me to do the table shower. She was pretty but very average in most ways otherwise. Also, a 45 minute massage with body slide the tip is more than $60.
I think we need to make sure we’re comparing apples to apples. Are you getting a one hour nude reverse with body slide at Shangri La for $60 tip?

yeah fair enough not all girls are the same over time with so many spas named, I meant more as a general rule between scarborough and durham.
With the above spas I have also found very little haggling or money talk, which I cant stand... ruins the mood. I have had bad experiences too. Sentosa Bay, I and U spa. not great at all.

tbf Shangri La would be on my lower end of those spas named above, i only repeat wit h suki. never has a problem with $60 on the hour massage. I should add that I think body slides are a waste of time and dont enjoy them or ask for them so maybe there is a disconnect on price there. My bad. Nude and hj works for me, liberal fun too hopefuilly but obvs ymmv.

Durham I have never had more than a decent experience for what feels like $50 more as standard. Quality of massage always seems to be lower imo. I liked Mae at Up Everyday spa but not sure she's still there. The recommended indies on the kijiji thread are better than the asian spas i think.

Just a warning about SOD it's never very busy there. Out of the dozen or so times I've gone there has only been ladies there 3 times. It would have been 4 but one was just leaving last week.

yeah no more than topless at SOD. Even topless not guaranteed I find. I never seem to see the same girl there twice but I have not been for a while.

I’m surprised that topless is even available there.

I went into Spa on Dundas once and the two girls were both busy. Some Indian family, women and men, had shown up and were getting a bunch of stuff done. Grrr
Attendants looked cute but one had a mask on so it was hard to tell. Anyway thanks for the intel gentlemen.
