Question: How is the PRC able to avoid the mess in the Middle East and Ukraine? I assume the PRC still gets their oil and none of their citizens have been beheaded.

They tortured using electricity, pulling out fingernails, ssleep deprivation, surgery without anestholgy (sp), starving to death, death from dehyrsrations, poisoning using various methods, drowning, etc
There is some ethinc unrest in Xinjiang province, mainly with the Uygurs; They look like half Asian and half caucasian. There have been stabbing rampages against police officers (who are not normally armed), and in train stations in other parts of China. There's been some exporting of talent to the ME. A few were in Gitmo. But otherwise, you see Chinese Muslims minding their business in most big cities.
I see Muslims minding their own business in most cities, even in Yemen, Saudi Arabia, and Afghanistan that is what most Muslims do. It is the few who don't, in China also, that cause the trouble.
The chap we really want to hear from, now, is the one who says, "Given that bumbling inept tragedy of a history, my positive, constructive, plan for improving the Middle East situation is . . ."
