Can we do the Boozer & Robinson for Bargnani & Lucas after the season? I would do it in a heartbeat because at least Boozer gives you something plus his contract expires before the lazy italian's does.

Send Bargnani to the D-League. Let him earn his way back to the Raptors bench. He's been given an easy ride and does not seem to have ever had to earn his spot on the team. Tough love is what he needs. At this point the change of scenery will give Bargnani an opportunity to reflect how good he has it with the Raptors. Bottom line is that Bargs has simply become complacent and disinterested from his body language.

I'm starting to feel like giving up on this season. I do think with the exception of Indiana, all the other teams ahead of us in our conference should be there based on team salaries. Milwaukee is a little less than us now too, but we might be a bit better than Milwaukee at this point in this season(maybe) There are teams like Orlando with far greater team salaries than the RAptors that we are ahead of, and Philly that is close to our equal but spending much more.

I also think its not coincidental that we lost the last few games, of which we have been throwing Bargnani back in the mix. At this point, by just looking at his playing time and our win/loss record, he appears to be a big negative influence!!! Bad for chemistry.

the bread is in the toaster
Raptors are 3 games out of 13th place...
By Friday they should be on a 7 game losing streak.

Just tank the fuck away...
A #3 lotto pick next year is win-win...
You WILL get a quality player regardless of "2013 weak draft" myth...
And it should be enough to sweep away the Colangelo-Casey Comedy Capers.

They better get a top-3 pick or it's Houston's pick (Lowry trade).

tank this year and next, and let's bring Wiggins back home! If he comes to T.O. we can invite him to the Terb Christmas party and I'll pitch in for the first 2 hours of an SP of his choice!

How are you going to tank badly enough to be bottom 3 in the league with this roster.. it's an 8th-12th place team in the east even with one of the worst head coaches around, and it's a fair way down to the worst teams in the league. Since we never tanked bad enough for a proper rebuild, and are not an attractive destination for free agents that have choices, that is pretty much what we are stuck with.

Yeah they have a major problem. Out of that group who do you keep? They don't have an "untouchable". There are some pieces but no franchise player.
When rebuilding, how far back do you go? GM? coach?
Last year I thought Casey did an amazing job, defense was surprisingly good, what the hell happened?
I keep hearing about the teams W/L record immediately after Gay arrived ( that kind of sucks now), has anyone looked at the teams record when Bargnani doesn't dress over the past two years?????? I don't have the numbers but I believe the record is better without him.
It seems to me every year is a rebuilding year and they never seem to improve. The media pumps them up before the season and then they SUCK! They have a little run against the other also rans then they SUCK again.
Next year maybe worse. no first rounder, and not much chance of a free agent that is worth anything, Bargnani won't get you much in a trade......... YUK!

those Golden State guard were just "lights out" shooting in the 4th quarter.

Its true we are not "bottom of the barrel". I hope Amir Johnson can work his way into the ALL STAR voting at least, if not the actual team. He really has been a beast and just has a great soft touch around the basket.
Throw in Rudy Gay who is just a gifted physical specimen, and Derozan and Lowry who are very good(but not great) players, and the team is pretty good. Unfortunately we don't have a top tier franchise player. As long as we don't have a franchise player or see one coming anytime soon, then we'll need to just get better as a team, and keep an eye on Indiana as an example.

...what the hell happened?
Bryan Colangelo is a sociopath...
He doesn't give a rats ass about Toronto, the fans, winning per se...
Every move he makes is designed to cover his ass and extend his job.

There is no plan... there never has been. Colangelo = The Plan.

Every coach he hires is a Scape Goat waiting to save his job...
We have not had a legit NBA coach since Lenny Wilkins.

Even Colangelo's PHX resume is completely faked...
His father 100% ran the team as President...
Read "7 seconds or Less" Bryan gets < one page...
His daddy made all the decisions and is ALL OVER that book.

Being a Raptor fan is a delusional, creepy obsession... kinda like pr0n...
I checked out 2008 to early 2013 and will soon jettison this team again.

I watched very little last night so I can't comment on the game other than what I have read. Bottom line: Raps loss and GS scored a ton.

I really like Amir. He may never be an all star bur he gives you solid effort. Great team player does what he is asked. Gay is solid, and I agree with you, not a franchise player, he certainly has changed the opponents defense. I think Memphis was right in getting rid of his contract. DeRozen, has a great work ethic and He has certainly improved with Gay on the floor. I think Jonas is going to be a very good player. He still is a work in progress. He seems to have the work ethic and desire and should keep on improving. I am not overly impressed with Lowry. He is OK but nothing special. I like his effort and enthusiasm but his play is inconsistent. We have the start of something but we need a couple of key pieces to make it work. Any idea where you find them? Do we need a new coach and GM? Caseyhas me confused as he took garbage and got them playing defense last year. This year supposedly better players and they look like Triano's team.

I don't know exactly what would motivate me to watch anymore Raptor games this year . I can't cheer for lottery balls and can't cheer for a playoff spot .

That's what I say, then for some inexplicable reason, I end up watching anyway.

Once the Jays start up though, it's bye-bye Raptors.

The Lakers interest me cause of the soap opera that surrounds them ... Those friggin Raptors with the NHL lockout going on had an opportunity to get more eyes and fucked it up .

Maybe Rudy can work on his 3 point shot over the summer. He'd jump to all-star status if he could hit a decent percentage at the 3 point line.(but really if hasn't gotten it thus far, not sure he's going to start hitting them cause I said so)

Right on! Now the Leafs have a playoff shot and the Jays appear to be a contender, the Raptors drop down the list. Instead of buildng basketball interest BC is causing it to decline.
