If it's Cochran's law firm, they're probably denying the county coroner's report that he's even dead and demanding their own experts be brought in.

As per "larry the cable guy"....I don't care where you're from...now that's funny.....

Good one.... :D

Time for the lawyer jokes....

What does 1000 lawyers at the bottom of the ocean represent?

A good start...

Sad to be sure and unexpected. Even though I am outraged at his conduct during the Simpson trial and his Slander of Mark Furhman and the LAPD in general. He was also largely responsible for dividing the nation during the trial and his arrogance was something else but it's still upsetting when anybody dies unexpectedly.

I don't think he slandered Furhman at all . Furhman lied on the stand and he was a racist pig. We can only imagine what else Fuhrman said about black people that was never admitted to by him.

Most of the media coverage portrayed Cochrane as a trailblazer for civil rights. I don't pretend to know of all his cases but it seems that he took a lot of high profile cases after the OJ trial and basically intimidated the hell out of the jury. Anytime he showed up, you pretty much knew it would be a circus. I thought OJ's reaction to Cochrane's passing was underwhelming, considering that he would be rotting behind bars if not for Johnnie's ability to blur the truth and the incompetence of the LAPD.

Must be a little uncomfortable in the afterlife for him -- what with trying to act nonchalant in front of Nicole and Ron.

wow, the racists are out in full effect. You must be Guliani's cousin. Isnt he the one who tried to disrespect a black man (a security guard) who got killed by police.

He might not have meant anything people like you but he meant alot to people who were denied their civil rights.

RIP Johnnie. You were great.

I am still laughing at the moron who thinks that Mark Hitler Furman was slandered. Goes to show racists will ALWAYS exist!

The Haitian who was sodomised by the NYPD and COUNTLESS black people who were denied their rights will remember you Johnnie. One luv sir. Once again, RIP. You did your job and they can all hate you for it if they want.

Let them go deal with RObert Blake and the men who sent 41 bullets Diallo's way.

How can people hold the OJ thing against Johnny?

He was hired as a defense lawyer, he did his job. If I was in trouble with the law and could afford a high power lawyer like JC I'd take advantage of that too.

It's not JC's fault that OJ may have been guilty.
It's not JC's fault that the legal system favours the rich.

As for turning things into a media circus, if my lawyer thought that would help my case I'd let him/her do it. If we're talking about jail time I think most people would want their lawyer to try and win at all costs.

thank you. The man was hired to do his job. Blame the prosecution and the jurors for what happened. The man obviously did a decent job. A damn good one even.

for every Nicole Simpson there are 50 Diallos. I mean, I have had cops shape their hands like a gun and point it at me before(more than once) and I dont find it funny. Diallo got more than that. He got the real thing.

You get my drift sir? Or maybe you dont because you are blind? I guess you dont know much about the injustices suffered by the 'other' side. When it happens to once side ONCE it outweighs the 50 times the others.

Hotel Rwanda anyone? We know whose lives isnt worth much. Check the Nick Nolte quote(line) in that movie. It sums up the thinking with regards to what black life is worth.

Hey, the LAPD initially got away with beating the living crap out of King. It took a large group of people getting very ignorant to get them to revisit that case. I mean, THAT incident was on video. I dont remember OJ's incident being on video. It was so clear cut it wasnt funny but they still wanted to insult our intelligence and free the crooked cops?

lol

This world is too funny. Like they always say..........Jackass(Donkey) says the world isnt level.

Keep crying for Nicole. You are entitled to. Its your right. I will keep crying for the 50 Nicoles with dark skin if you know what I mean.

The man just died and this is how you want to act? Just say RIP Johnny and move on. Then again, if you have nothing good to say then say nothing at all. Never speak ill of the dead unless he is a Hitler type which Mark Furman (the one was slandered  ) is.

Its time for yall to let the OJ thing go! OK, the blacks pulled one back but they still losing the 'game' big time. Any justice for the 4 little black girls who got bombed by the KKK in Alabama for instance? There are so many more cases that I would need a whole year to document them. Whats the matter you wanted a shut out? To keep a clean score sheet?

At least it took a rich black man to get away with murder. I doubt if the men who murdered those 4 little black girls (who were how old again?) were wealthy.

In England, the 4 white youths who murdered black teenager Stephen Lawrence still walk free. You should see how they smiled when leaving the inquests into murder in 98/99 and how they held up middle fingers to the black crowd waiting outside(I was there in London at the time-in the crowd). A little justice was served when a Pakistani youth eluded security and knocked one of them in the face. That brought a smile to my face. I dont ever remember OJ giving the white crowd the middle finger though. Correct me if I am wrong.

On another note, money came out of OJ's pocket from the civil trial(so I guess that answers your civil rights question) but nothing came of what those white youths did. I dont remember if Diallo's family for even got a penny per 41 shots he received. Ok, not all 41 hit him but you do get my drift. 41 shots. Wow. I am sure even 10 would have been enough.

Ooops, there I go trying to document it all. Let me stop now. Forgive me for digging this all up but I trust you will see my point. There is no point in digging up the past. Let it die!(no pun intended). Look toward the future and how you can improve it.

Johnnie help pave the way for a better future, legality-wise, for blacks and hispanics. For that I remember him. Not for him being part of the defense team that saved OJ's ass. I wonder if you will bitch about Shapiro when he too dies. I will have to wait and see I suppose.

PS: How come you aint bitching about Mr Blake though? No justice for his wife?

American SOB's mentality is more divisive to his nation then the OJ trial ever
was. The OJ trial reflected the reality of America. Cochrane was a skilled
and brilliant lawyer.
