La la land
It is the USA. Sex, Drugs and arresting people darker than skim milk makes money for courts and prisons.

Makes her seem like the criminal of the century
If they were trafficked girls - then yes this is a big deal. They already said there was a room with 4 beds in the back. Usually in cases like this that would mean that staff are forced to stay on site to work 24/7. That is not right.

I think we all agree that prostitution by a willing person is totally fine. If the girl/guy wants to sell their sex by their own free will, go for it. However, I feel that traffickers/pimps should face severe penalties. Forcing someone into that life and abusing/exploiting them is horrific....

Now, about this story, we don't know all the details (obviously), but it makes for a great TV news story. You can talk about tawdry sex acts and illegal activity....Toronto media does it once in a while when the cops here bust a trafficking ring...

Prostitution is actually totally ILLEGAL in Vegas. There are certain counties in other parts of Nevada where prostitution is legal (under Nevada law, counties have to "opt in" to make prostitution legal) but Clark County (which Las Vegas is a part of) has not opted in.

Correct. Also, it is based on population density. Clark county would not "qualify" even if they did apply because the population density is so high. The brothels out there often have "ranch" in the name because they are in more rural sections so the cutesy name makes sense.
