Geez the Q107 crowd need to give it a rest on here, first it was the death of some Reptile King dude, then Chuck Blueberry now it's Alannis Morisette's grandma wailing away. You people do realize there was music after 1975 right?? :)

Yes there is.....if you use the term 'music' loosely....

Since '75 it has been pretty much all downhill with pop & rock....

Actually, as I see it, the downward trend began around 1955 when top flight musicians shuddered as they saw what was starting to happen in the music world.

I have always liked her music, she had a raw and guttural sound that personified the era.

Yet she stands tall as another example of rising stars who could not avoid the evils of drugs booze.
