Jail for man who ran strip club (Fantasia)

This is the first thread in years to use RICARDOS name and not get deleted??????

I went to Fantasia after a golf tournament for the first time on the last day it was open....I read in the paper the next morning that it was raided and closed. I was supposed to go back within the next week to see the same dancer I had that day...I owed her $40.00, after paying her $160...I had a great time.

Ok ok, lets start a fund to help the gent pay those taxes.

Well, bottom line, if he didn't pay his taxes, then he has to do the time.

Let him make resitution and all will be forgiven. If he's blown the money and can't pay what he owes, then off to prison he goes and I'll be the first one in line to turn the key behind him.

Seriously.

I have little time for guys who think that they don't have to pay taxes like the rest of us because they are so smart.

Does that preclude you doing business with the -ahem- independent contractors that are the subject of this forum?

Girls too.

It's not my responsibility to ensure that anyone I choose to do business with pays their taxes.

That's what the CRA is there for.

I just have no sympathy for anyone who conducts a cash business and doesn't pay, or severely underpays their income taxes and gets busted. (I'm sitting here and my T4 is about a foot from my computer, so I know how much in taxes I paid fair and square last year.)

The way some people babble on around here, they seem to think that most clubs are just like the Fan.

I go back to the Fan before it was the Fan - it was the Richmond Inn. Although it looked all legal from the outside, had not strip club, it was still a major whore house - when it became the Fan it was just more out in the open- plus a hell of a lot better looking women!!!! I still remember the old barber's chair and my first Mustache ride - my lord, if I knew then what I know now I would never had stepped up for that experience
