When I went to Brass or CMJ before the pandemic, I paid the expected fee straight up. $180 for the hour, that's it. Anything above that was an actual tip that I decided based on how it went, not a surcharge. I've always hated the "get into the room to find the real cost" model, I stay away from that. I'm hoping it's not going to be a thing now with the lockdowns over.

Brass/Alpha has gotten bad for upcharging. Was upcharged for things that used to be standard the last two times I went so probably wont go anymore.
